Hey Reddit, relationship advice: to the men out there, tell me about the one that got away and what happened and where is she now ? And what is that one thing you have always wanted to say to her but never got a chance, let's vent?

Why is it so hard to believe that men can genuinely love women?

There have been so many times when I’ve genuinely liked a man, and the feelings were mutual, but I always ended up pulling away. No matter how much I liked him, I couldn’t bring myself to trust his intentions or feel comfortable with the idea of being romantically involved. I struggle to believe that a man could love me for who I am rather than what he desires from me, and that fear makes me walk away from connections I actually want.

If we can live a fulfilling life on our own, what is the point of having an intimate relationship?

If we’re already happy being single, emotionally independent, and capable of meeting our own needs, what does a relationship actually add to our lives?

Maybe being in a relationship reveals parts of ourselves we never knew existed. But is that growth something we can only experience through intimacy, or can we discover it on our own, too?

Have you ever stopped texting first just to see who notices?

Not to play games. Not to punish anyone.

Just to understand whether someone actually wants you in their life, or whether you're the only one keeping the connection alive.

It's a strange feeling when you realize you know so much about someone's life, but they rarely ask about yours.

Sometimes, you don't want attention from everyone. You just want to know that your presence matters to someone, too.

Have you ever gone quiet and discovered who genuinely cared enough to check on you?

Why should I believe in God?

If God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and needs absolutely nothing, why did he create us in the first place?

What was the point? If he created us to worship him, how is that not narcissistic?

Why create billions of people knowing they would suffer, only to demand their worship and threaten them with eternal punishment for not believing?

And why should I believe in a God who provides no verifiable evidence of his existence but expects unconditional faith?

Can you answer the question when was the last time when you were truly happy?

I asked myself and I couldn't answer for sure. The last time I felt truly happy was around 2014 when I was in relationships. Maybe even before that. Since then it's just time/momentary happiness but nothing fulfilling.

It's kinda sad if I think about that. I had a relapse today emotionally and I asked myself this question but I couldn't answer properly.

All those years I'm compensating happiness with material purchases and even though I knew that, I was just carrying on because I wanted some happiness in my life even though it was just for a split second.

I'm happy or I'm thinking I'm happy but not truly, I'm single since 2014 and even though I achieved a lot in my life, in my job, a good career etc. there was always something missing.

Maybe this accounted for moving abroad and starting a new life after breakup. Who knows?

Life is unpredictable and I'm at the moment unhappy.

Sorry for the rant, I wanted to get out of my chest.

Keep on smiling!
