I think the changes should be reverted.
People like running dungeons for exp. Let people run dungeons for exp.
Yucking people’s Yum is dumb.

As a developer, it seems obviously much easier to make leveling harder to extend the life of the content than it is to add more content.

Most everyone will spend more time at 60 in forever than they will sub 60.

Yes ppl will have alts, but there's no prestige system in place..you get through the content on a character and you aren't going back with how the devs have set it up beyond maybe getting some items that are part of a set. They're actively making new dungeons just for people to not be inside said dungeons. It's kind of laughable.

And to me it feels, more than a little bit, like they’re worried people are gonna get bored and stop playing (paying) once they hit 60…so they simply want to extend the amount of time it takes to get there.

The problem I have with this statement is that this is a horizontal forever 60 game mode now. If people stop playing at 60, that is a fundamental issue with how they've set up their own game.

That’s a fair point

Most people that play forever probably won't even get to 60.

Then these same people will simply do more dungeons.

The whole design of the game is to get people out in the world. I don't know why this is hard to grasp. They don't want instanced content(sharding/layering is a big issue tbf)

I think long term it is better for the game if people primarily level in the world as opposed to dungeons. It will just be very unpopular for some people short term.

I think people just want to hit max level as soon as possible, I don't think a lot of people care about dungeons as much as they claim. I hear about the social aspect and this and that, but if they added elite quests that required others...they would still be salty if it wasn't as fast or faster than dungeons.

People just want to eat and nobody wants to cook

I didn't yuck anyone's yum. You are just willfully ignoring their design direction, nor reading anything I wrote.

If you want to go with food analogies you're ordering fish and saying it's fishy. You're just being annoyingly daft

I think the true reason this has happened. Is that people like yourself keep complaining people are having fun in a different way.

You're being overly emotional about a small aspect of a video game. I have never once complained for or against dungeon exp. You are just being weird about it

If the sharding I dealt with last night in game is also in the live version, I’ll either go back to MoP or find another title

Yea, it is a huge deal breaker for me. I am 33 now, but as a kid playing Vanilla/TBC/WoTLK I loved looking up to and eventually competing with and against the better guilds on the servers. Or the PvP rivalries.

The immersion was just kind of inherent and not a mindful part of it back then but now that is gone as well. A huge shame they updated all these things like weather for immersion and it gets thrown out the window when people are fucking apparating.

Wish they would bring back servers, the alternatives suck so bad
