Forever Beta Feedback Unintended outcomes of the Dungeon XP Nerf

  1. Monster Skip Runs [ More than just end game dungeons ]

  2. Hard Reserving of low level gear [ Not just Cruel Barb ]

  3. Less Tank and Healers leveling [ You see them say it every day on reddit since the nerf ]

  4. Tanks and Healers charging for their services for low level dungeons [ Not just end game ]

  5. Less dungeons begin ran [ Meaning harder to find groups ]

  6. Less social interactions [ Dungeons were the group activity, questing is primarily solo ]

  7. Some dungeons being skipped entirely [ Alliance have no reason to run Shadow Fang Keep since there are no quests and no mob XP ]

There are more issues than just these, I normally just run a dungeon 3-5 times now trying to convince people to do that will be drastically harder.

why would cloth users help me do Scarlett Monetary Armory?

Will people just Skip SM Cath because you have to clear all mobs?

We have never had to ask these questions before and this is why people are so passionate about it, we are supposed to be playing this version Forever.

Just make Boosting a lifetime bannable offense.

As someone who mains healers, I don't enjoy leveling through questing. It's hard and a pain in the butt. I loved jumping into Dungeons whenever to get XP, but they've decided to make it difficult specifically for my play-style. It's really annoying.

This is how I feel also. I'll still do it, just accepting it'll take a long time to level.

That's the only thing for me ill sit at whatever level im at and wait for groups to get quests done or get that piece of loot i wanted. Punishing me is bull crap and i will resent you for it. Heck it may even wear me down and you'll lose a sub. But it won't stop me. I'll just sit idle waiting for a group and stream/work on warhammer stuff.

I was going to say 'in before someone tells you you're supposed to quest as dps and carry 2 sets of gear " but I was too late. I wish people would absolutely fuck off telling people who like playing with their healing toolkit to "spec dps"

  • it's about the journey

  • the journey is strictly for dps specs

  • don't dare try the journey as a healer

I feel the exact same way. Not touching the game until they reverse the dungeon changes. Absolutely insane an MMO is trying to dissuade social play

This is exactly me. I level as tank or healer, I do some quests, but to me quests get boring. So ill quest until i can tank or heal, then alternate questing and dungeons with a little heavier on dungeon sides so i can level up to points where I take different quests or different zones that I prefer or whatever.

Ultimately, I just like doing dungeons. I'm not racing to 60, but honestly, who gives a shit about the tiny fraction of min maxers who dungeon levels with a cleave group. They are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist as its only used by a small percentage of players.

Its extremely frustrating to do a dungeon and receive this nerfed XP. Its both not worth doing for progression, and nothing makes it worth doing for fun.. so why would we run dungeons save for the quests?

Keep fighting brother, we can't give up until they realize how they fucked it up

The correct play has always been leveling with a dps spec and off healing until 60. Now you can do that until 40 then duel spec.

Yes thankfully they didn't nerf healing spells to put healing power on items and you can easily heal with str/agi gear on your paladin, shaman or druid. /s

Now you get to chase twice as much gear, and therefore get twice as much dopamine.

And then you get the rush from having your bags full of stuff.

I don't know how it'll be at higher level dungeons ( or how it is for the other classes) but I quite easily healed the new Wetlands dungeon on a (slightly) underleveled resto druid with full feral gear apart from a staff that I had gotten as a quest reward some 3-4 lvls earlier.
