Stories This little girl found us š„ŗ
Lana, as we just named her, came to your place looking very dirty and sick. Thankfully em she seems to have energy and sheās eating very well. Weāve been trying to clean her up gently but sheās still so dirtyā¦ Weāll take her to the vet as soon as we can.
Sheās very sweet, me and my family already love her. We hope to be able to help her.
Unfortunately our other two female cats are upset with us, they seem very jealous. Iām trying to give them more attention to see if they forgive us for the betrayal lol.
Iāll be updating you guys on her health. For now she seems happy to be with us, even though she doesnāt trust us 100%.

Weāre doing our best š itās quite funny because a few days ago I told my bf Iād be happy to have one more cat, and now we have her. I believe she has a high chance of recovering since she seems quite strong and has a lot of apetite for a sick cat

We havenāt been able to take her yet. My mom will take her on Saturday. It probably will get quite expensiveā¦ We think she might need surgery as her tail is broken. Sheās not in pain tho, whatever she has rn is not recent. We suspect she might have gotten inside a car engine. We had to rescue a small cat that got in our engine a few years ago, but thankfully we noticed before it got hurt.

How can you know she's not in pain without having a vet look at her? Please take her to the vet ASAP. She looks hurt.

Yeah, but you don't know what else is wrong with her without having a vet look at her. Cats are very good at disguising health problems to the point they will just die from them before showing any signs of distress. I'm trying to be kind and gentle here, that said, I think you need to take her to the vet to be looked at before Saturday. Please consider this. I would hate for her to be masking pain and suffering unnecessarily. Your heart is in the right place to take her in and care for her, but she looks like she needs a doctor. I personally would have her looked it, if only for piece of mind, but more so for her comfort level.

Unfortunately it is not in my power. If it was my decision, I would have taken her the day we found her. I am a university student, I tutor a few hours a week to pay for my expenses. Thereās no way I could afford the billā¦

Well, then I would be looking to see if there are vets in your area that can help out, or no kill organization...something, because that second photo of her does not look good, at all.

She has beautiful markings but looks pretty sick/distressed. Thank you for taking her to the vet.

Unfortunately she has a lot of problems. Her tail is broken (but it doesnāt seem recent, she lets us touch it), her front paws seem to have a malformation or smth, one of her ears has 3 healed cuts, she has a tumor or a pretty nasty infection, whatever she has on her fur is hard to cleanā¦

Try to introduce this kitty slowly to your other 2. Cats take time to get used to one another and if you just throw them in before they have that chance, they could dislike each other for the foreseeable future

We tried to keep them in different spaces, but they still noticed. I donāt think they like other animals, at all. They can barely tolerate each other, and theyāre sisters, grew up together. They fight all the time lolā¦ the only time theyāre friends is when one of them brings a rat to play or when they sleep with my mom lol.
