XFX swift 9070xt scorptec warranty claim?

Has some faulty sounding fans. Started happening after about 2 weeks after purchase, and got worse over time. I’m considering sending it back to scroptec. However I’m most worried about a refund since I bought this card for 900 dollars about 2 months ago and now the same model goes for 1250. Is faulty fan enough for them replace or repair?

I made a site comparing custom builds vs prebuilts at each budget, with AU prices checked daily. Feedback wanted

I kept going back and forth on whether to build or buy, so I made https://tobuildorbuy.com. For Under $1,500, $2k, $3k, $4k and $5k it puts the best custom build from the big AU stores (Scorptec, PCCG, Umart, Mwave, PLE) next to the best prebuilt (Nebula, Radium, Aftershock etc.) and a parts-only build-it-yourself list. Every price includes Windows and gets rechecked each morning.

It'll run ads and some affiliate links down the track to cover costs; they don't change the prices or the picks.

I'd really like to know where the picks look wrong, what budgets or stores are missing, and whether the comparison and website makes sense. Again, updated daily, builds custom PC's on each website, no guessing.

Nebula PC "sale" price increase flag Spoiler

Just a heads-up for anyone looking at Nebula PCs during the Black Friday sale.

I was comparing a few of their builds over the past week, and noticed that at midnight the Black Friday sale started (they had PAX sale till now), the PC I was watching had its base price increased by $100, along with its advertised "sale" price.

The previous "Mate Rates" offer also disappeared, and the new "Black Friday" pricing is being promoted as their "best lowest price" (or similar wording), despite the same PC being cheaper yesterday still on sale.

Obviously, retailers can change their prices, and I'm not suggesting otherwise. It's just the timing and the way the new discount is being advertised that I find a bit misleading.

Not trying to bash Nebula or discourage anyone from buying from them. Just sharing what I noticed so others can compare prices rather than assume a Black Friday deal is necessarily the lowest available.

First PC

Hi all. I've decided I'm in the market for a PC after years of consoles. I have very little knowledge about what components are better than others, especially with the amount of options out there. I have a budget of around $1500, happy to increase a few hundred to get bang for buck. I'm thinking pre built seems to be the way to go currently. Ill be playing a mixture of games, 1080p is fine with me. I'd really appreciate anyone's suggestions or tips. Thanks in advance

Edit- I'm also keen to hear opinions on buying 2nd hand, wether or not the lower cost is worth missing warranty and running the risk of faulty parts.

Need recommendations: best 27" 1440p IPS monitor for PS5 (GTA 6 & Uni work) around $200-$300ish?

hey guys,
just scored a solid deal on a pre-owned ps5 (considering current prices) and i'm trying to find a decent monitor to pair with it.
i'm strictly looking for a 27-inch 1440p IPS panel. my budget is right around $200 to $300ish max.
it's mainly gonna be for gaming, mostly getting ready for gta 6 and other story games single player I don’t play online competitive games, but i'm also a student so i'll be using it for uni work, writing papers, and just everyday stuff.
i’ve seen a few models tossed around like the asus xg27acs or some gigabyte specs, but figured i'd ask here first. anyone have a setup like this that they actually like for both console gaming and schoolwork?
If anyone has any other suggestions about monitors that would be good too.
thanks!
