Super excited to announce our new adventure game in development; Pelican Point 1997! Set in ’90s Australia. Explore colourful, hand-drawn and animated suburbia, collect hilarious trading cards, rent a video, buy an album or overfeed your digital pet.

If this is the sort of adventure game that interests you, please smash that wishlist button on Steam!

As fellow Aussies, I'd love to hear about the unique things you remember owning/playing/seeing in the late 1990s.

Here are some more fancy words about the game:

From the developers of CAVEMAN CRAIG comes PELICAN POINT 1997, a point and click adventure game set in regional 1990s Australia.

You’re Josh Wackett. It’s your twelfth birthday, and with both parents stuck at work, Saturday is yours. So what’s the plan? Hunt down Mighty Monsterz trading cards? Help your best mate Paley investigate the weird stuff happening around town? Or kick back with a few weeklies from the video store?

• Hang out in hand-drawn environments bursting with life, complete with original recorded dialogue and fully animated characters.
• Grift unsuspecting kids in games of Mighty Monsterz or find cards hidden throughout town to complete your card collection.
• Blow your dollarydoos on music, videos and more from the shops around town. Enjoy the irony of owning physical media in a virtual world you downloaded off the Internet!
• Listen to original soundtracks of teen-pop, trip-hop, post-grunge and other beloved (or despised) genres on your portable CD player.
• Muck around on the family PC, collect toys from yesteryear or neglect your virtual pet

Thanks for reading about my upcoming game! - Tim

Yes the title says it all. We’re hit with another game removal. Gamble With Your Friends has been removed from sale. Steam page been blocked, can’t redeem keys and game isn’t able to be traded to an Australian account https://steamdb.info/app/3892270/

Hey there Andy Here as of late just got a ps5 and loving it, I used to have one but got rid of it , putting it out there if any one had a PS5 and wants to play games hit me Up and lets chat.

games currently playing are

-halo

- 007 first light

- mafia collection

- forza

so if it is something u wanna do hit me up and lets play games together and enjoy it.

Just got back into destiny 2 after about a year and need new people to play with. Haven't done pvp in a while so abit rusty but want fireteam for raids and stuff

Natural Selection 2 is a fantastic classic and I miss playing it dearly!

The problem for us Aussies is finding a decent game. The game is still playable, but without local servers we’re left joining overseas ones, where 300+ ms ping can make it hard to aim, react, and enjoy the match.

I’ve started a Discord so Australian players can find each other, chat about NS2, and organise a time to jump on together. If enough of us are interested, we could also make it a broader Australian gaming community: suggest games that deserve another go, vote on one, then organise a weekend session to get people playing again.

If you’ve played NS2 before—or are curious to try it—come join us. Let’s see if we can get a few good games going!

Hey! Currently looking for anyone who would be interested in potentially joining a gaming group and playing some games (Ideally in the age range of 22-28)

Some of us do content creations, I personally just clip funny moments on Medal, but I don't do much content creation anymore. The priority here is just likeminded folks with a good sense of humour who don't take videogames too seriously (we actively try to annoy each other in games for fun)

I'll list some games, and then I guess a rough estimate of what the group's personality is like

Games:

-Rematch
-Fortnite
-Skate
-REPO
-Content Warning
-The Headliners
-Super Battle Golf
-Mecca Chameleon
-Phasmophobia

What the group is like:
Most of us are anime/manga nerds
We banter regularly (might take a few calls to get comfortable enough to banter as well)
We're LGBTQ accepting
We got some pretty wild humour
Only one or two of us are pretty good at games (I am not one of them, lol)
We're Australians (which is why I'm posting this here, so timezones wouldn't be too big an issue)
We're often on the lookout for more multiplayer horror games

If this interests you, feel free to hit up my Discord: mrvestige

If you want to join the group, I'll add you to a beginner rank just so we get a sort of feeling out process to see if you're comfortable with the group after a few calls. There is a general text and voice chat though for all ranks, so you'll be able to see when we decide to play in the open vc.

If you also want a better idea of what we're like, if you have Medal just search my account up: sirvestige
I regularly post there when something funny happens

Hi everyone, as GTA 6 is coming soon I have just realised Ill need a added ssd. After recommendations for budget ones please.

cheers

Wanting to get my hands on one hopefully this month without paying the scum scalpers. Any tips for those of you who got lucky during this surge?

P.S. - Before anyone jumps to criticise, I believe I've earned the right as an adult to spend my money as I choose. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while but now have the financial means to do so.

Need some advice. My build:

• AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
• Phanteks Polar ST5 D-RBG CPU Cooler
• MSI B550M Pro-VDH WiFi Motherboard
• ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Challenger 16GB GDDR6
• Team T-Force Delta RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16 DDR4 Black
• Team T-Force Z44A7Q NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD 2TB
• Kolink Regulator Gold ATX 3.0 1000W Power Supply

I use Linux, and game - Modded Minecraft, Single-Player games, and Indie. Very rarely anything bigger - But would like to be able to play them at a reasonable fps and resoulotion

I'm buying from PC Case Gear and it's a customized prebuild!

Don't know much about computers but wanting to build one suitable for gaming. Around 2.5k any suggestions?

Cool little story about a Discord server founder and COD partner who who was threatened with a defamation lawsuit. Anyone else had any crazy experiences in/from a discord?

New to PlayStation. Keen to play GTA6 when it comes out. BigW seems to have decent prices. Is there any difference between these consoles? I dont care about Fortnite but would it be stupid not to buy the bundle?

Hey I just got messed around by Nebula for a good few months and I’m finally gonna get refunded. What are some more trustworthy and quality companies for prebuilt PC’s?

Hey all, I am planning to pre-order GTA 6 from JB which I will upgrade later to Ultimate Edition. Can anyone let me know if I collect my game from JB after 19th November, would I still be able to claim the pre-order perk?

Thanks!

Edit: I am ordering from JB to get the Physical Case

Hi everyone, we're LVLUP Gaming — an Australian trading card, collectables and gaming business based in Melbourne.

We're putting our own time and money into getting tournaments organised. We want the business to give people more chances to compete and support the players and creators involved.

We're recruiting players for competitive and community tournaments in Melbourne, and online competition across Australia. Whether you've competed before or want to enter your first tournament, we want to hear from you.

What game would you actually sign up to compete in? That's what we'd like to hear from you. PC gaming, trading card games and miniature/tabletop games are all part of what we're looking at.

Tell us your game and city, and the kind of tournament you'd enter. A one-day event? A league you can play in over several weeks? Online or in person? If your game rarely gets a tournament near you, we'd like to know. Your replies will help us choose what to organise first.

We're recruiting players and teams now. We're also looking for streamers, casters and organisers who want to help run or cover the tournaments. If you'd like to be involved, tell us what you play or do. Player, team and creator sponsorship applications are open too.

More about us and how to get involved: LVLUP Gaming — tournaments and sponsorship. You can also follow @lvlupgamingau on Instagram for tournament announcements, recruitment updates and gaming/collecting posts.

This is my collection (that’s downloaded) only available on Friday nights/ Saturdays/ sometimes Sunday’s I’m 23 M and get along with males or females. If you don’t have a mic then don’t reply

no reason at all - just good because Australia has different time zones and stuff and it’s just overall super cool =]

This is a build that I put together for gaming, movies and reading, I want to play modded minecraft and some AAA games, Is this good??
