Bald Picture In complete tears
I cannot begin to express how overwhelmed I am from my previous post. I genuinely expected to be roasted and get comments about a brown paper bag would be my best accessory because that is what I have more or less been told and believed about myself. I still don't love the way I look, and want to improve things like losing more weight. But for the first time ever in my adult life, I am starting to not vehemently detest the way I look, thanks to the kindness from all you people that I still cannot comprehend. Also about a beard like so many of you commented, being on the fire department I am not allowed to have anything more than stubble. The stereotypical mustache is fair game though.

You look great! Please don't listen to anything people say. Sometimes people just say things to be hurtful and that's because they have an empty bucket and they're trying to fill it by making yours empty too. That's not okay and hopefully you understand that. Whatever somebody says negative about you is generally about them.

Nah dude, you look fresh as hell and the moustache in this photo actually suits you a lot too. If you don't like how you look in photos play around with some angles and styles, it'll help you feel more confident.

Also if you’re still feeling low it’s time to find a style that will make you feel sexy! We look at ourselves too much not to be judgmental sometimes, and a new fit can sometimes change how we feel too.

The science behind it is a little outdated and questionable if it's still accurate or not, but basically the masks that we wear on our faces that are connected to our air tanks that we breathe with have to have an airtight seal on our face and beard hair interferes with that.
