Question Blinking?
i am not an animator, im generally a comic/sequential artist for my gay little characters. but ive been possessed by something insane so now im working on a very short very simple animation meme. you know the one.
here's my rough:
originally made this video to show my friend thats why u got the silly face at the end.
my question is this: its like a barely 10 frames long loop. where do i make them blink? Should i maybe copy-paste the loop a couple times so i can insert some blinking?
Edit: when i say blinking, i mean eyes. blinking eyes. i want to know when to make the eyes blink. I've dropped the frame rate from 24 to 12 and that alone already looks better, and im going to be copy-pasting these 10 frames at least once so i can add the music to the back and post it as a video. i have no idea how to do any of these things. im flying by the seat of my pants. but i have an idea and so help me god i wanna see it through for once.

It’s hard to see on my phone, but it looks like you’re only exposing each drawing for 1 frame. That’s really fast for something this short. Try exposing each for 2 or 4 frames. This will slow it down and allow you to add more drawings in between.

You don’t want to drop the frame rate. That’s just slowing overall project and giving you less frames to work with. Search how to change exposure length in Krita on YouTube. It will help you understand what I’m getting at.
I recommend Animatewithdermot. He’s possibly one of the most legit animators who uses Krita.
