Advice Question 💭 how should i react ?

If someone close says that masturbation is healthy and that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, it makes me feel traumatized because I suffer from it hearing someone say something like that makes me feel as though my suffering isn't real

Why would someone else doing it make you suffer? I would talk to a therapist.
