Oh wow you sound like the worst. This is the most out to lunch comment I’ve read so far. Maybe you should find a room mate for your spare bedroom instead of playing Pretend Hotel Manager.

Ehh no because I use the spare bedroom often? I just offered it on spare days?

Then what the fuck are they paying your "cleaning fee" for you dingus. They aren't your guest. They're your customer.

You also should clean your guest dishes to be a nice host. But yeah they are their customers.

They’re not your guests, they’re your customers. You charge a cleaning fee and even if you didn’t, it’s still not your CUSTOMER’S job.

well they aren't sleeping in that room for free. It's inconsiderate of them not to clean up after themselves but also that's your ultimate responsibility because they are PAYING YOU.

If they're paying you they are customers.

I run a restaurant and don't make them wash their dishes. Hotels don't make you wash your bedding. Bars don't make you mop the floors.

Either you want to have customers or you don't. And if you do, you have to treat them like customers. Simple as.
