I removed my listing today. I rent a spare room in the house I live and Airbnb told me I can't ask guests to clean the dishes. I can't live in a dirty kitchen. Is like asking one roommate to clean everybody's dishes.

It simply sounds like you don’t deserve money from renting out a room. This is Airbnb getting rid of their shittiest hosts and you are upset about it. Gives me a giggle.

by that logic every home owner should be getting income because they own property and live in

Dog just do the dishes and fold clothes, it isn't hard to do a service that they pay you to do instead of a hotel

If you think hosting is just providing a space, you're a terrible host both in the personal sense of hosting friends and the "hosting" as a business sense. Your competition for space is hotels/motels/other AirBnBs, if your add-on fees and FUCKING CHORES are in excess of your competitors' then you are going to lose. And I welcome it.

Bullshit. Countertop units are available everywhere. I know that if I had to spend a significant amount of time washing dishes I'd sure as shit figure out how to get one.
