The adacity of the spurs fan in the arena chanted that at Chet when chet literally got suplex or body slam fox, like what the fu..... do you guys catch that last night.

So, can we say everything played out the way it was supposed to? Aday does look like the right fit for the Thunder.

Maybe it’s too soon to say, but what’s your opinion?

The NBA would probably never do this but could SGA win MVP Chet win DPOY Ajay win sixth man and Aday win rookie of the year (probably the lost unlikely to happen) but this could happen I could also see sga or J-Dub winning clutch player of the year. Just a halftime thought.

The discourse surrounding Mara during his preseason outings was nasty work by a lot of people that call themselves “Thunder Fans.” After putting up clinical outings every single game Folks really didn’t trust their eyes constantly saying “wait till the season” or “it’s just preseason” that just screams most folks don’t know ball or they really weren’t watching because how could they not see that he’d be big for this squad

- 12/13 bricked FGs (94% consistency creating this shot)

- 4/4 bricked 3 pointers (100% consistency putting up this shot type so far.)

Consistency and being able to know what to expect from a player is extremely important and I beleive this contributed to SGA's 2x MVPs. However SGA has only had about 50% of these shots consistently going in. That is insane, but not as insane as the nearly 100% consistency shot Wemby has been putting up so far this season.

Growing up Alex Abrines was my favorite player, and I loved how whenever he got a 3 the announcers would go “ALEX ABRINES FOR 3, SI SEÑOR!”

We haven’t had the opportunity for it ever since until now and quite honestly I’m not sure when we could use it for Mara but, I would love to see it brought back for like an incredible dunk or something.

Idk I could just be living off of nostalgia but what do y’all think?

But someone needs to take the Star Wars “there’s always a bigger fish” scene to put Wemby on the first sea monster and Mara on the second with Presti saying “there’s always a bigger fish.”

He pins chets left arm down and does an up an under on chets right side then steps into chets body and goes low for the throw using his body.

DeErin is poison and it’s clear why he was traded. He has a loser mindset and will never win a ring.

What if the Spurs were the ones that called Mara’s Spanish pro team? They said, “Hey! You can sue OKC about Mara’s contract and they’ll have to send him back.” Just a theory.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is two years in a row that our opening night opponent had a player set a career high for 3 pointers made. Sengun made 5 last year, and Castle had 5 tonight. Just glad this one didn't go to double OT!

O-K-C = KAR EN TUK

Last year everyone was crying about how our players get away with so much yet the Spurs players were literally being dirty in every round of the playoffs. Last night they were trying to pick fights and playing like the Bad Boy Pistons but all I see is people making jokes about it instead of acknowledging the actual issue. They called us dirty but I barely see anyone batting an eye at how aggressive that team actually is and not even just against us.

I forgot to add the community😭 oh well.

What do we think about Cason bringing the ball up the court so much last night? Personally I’m not mad at it as it allowed SGA to play off-ball early on, which I think set him up for success later. What do you all think?

His box score might not show it, but he probably was the biggest reason OKC won tonight.

He genuinely individually locked up Wemby all night. Wemby made 1 FG the entire game and it was a last second lob when Chet was out of the game.

All we wanted to see was Chet play with some heart and physicality and he did exactly that. He took it personally and did not look like a scared gazelle like we saw him last.

If we get THIS Chet in every spurs matchup, this will not be much of a rivalry.

Soft as fuck
