Used to work with someone who couldn't eat potatoes, apparently it's called a nightshade allergy, which if you're not into botany is a really confusing allergy. Fortunately it's a rare allergy, because how is the same allergy stopping you from eating potato, tomato, and bananas?

We work food and beverage industry too, I'm so glad her allergy isn't one of the big 14 because I swear it would take me longer to learn that one than all the others combined.
