Problem is Musk has now become more powerful than the government in a lot of ways. He can switch off his satellites and sway wars, he can deny access to his spaceships (or sell services to other nations). No one private citizen should have this much power.
Democrats know he wields way too much power so they're going to take SpaceX and Starlink over, provided a Democrat wins the Presidentcy in 2028. He can also be stripped of his citizenship.
