This is mental illness on his part. He is lame af. It is most likely tied into him trying to act like other billionaires and country club life. It's all fake. It seems to have fucked him up.

Its different when you're married, have a familiy, and a family brand image(He makes billion dollar disney movies now) vs when he was a young/rising star. He even propped up his kids' career with his fame. Only for it to result in another failed marriage? Nah, he already sunk too much into this relationship for him to let it go.
