I served in the Army for six years, I have degrees in anthropology, biology, and zoology. If I were to receive such an invitation I would turn it down because I wouldn't consider myself worthy of the honor.
But these two dimwits don't even have enough self-awareness for that.
Imagine being a General with like thirty years in the military and you have to skip a meeting on Iran because you were voluntold to go listen attentively to two reality TV idiots reading motivational (AI generated) speeches off a teleprompter.
I work as a consultant so it's a lot of reviewing reports and permit applications but sometimes I get to go in the field and trap wildlife, or do special-status species surveys. I'm cross-trained as an archaeologist so sometimes I get to go on digs or pedestrian surveys for archaeological sites.
