Does anybody else's pupper consume leaves like a panda eats bamboo?

I literally can't keep her from destroying every leaf she sees. She is a MONSTER when it comes to them.

It's even hard to take her out to potty because she just wants to dine on leaves 😭

I'm hoping they don't mess with her stomach. I try to grab them from her mouth, rake, move them before she sees them... They will blow off the tree in the neighbor's yard and the SECOND it lands she sprints to it and eats it!

This little monster grabs something to bring and try to snack on every time we go outside, mulch and leaves are the current go to. Used to just be a single piece of mulch but as of last week it was also a leaf. I have to check her mouth when we get to the door every time, and sure enough there is something there🤦🏻‍♀️

My husband is installing tile floors in our home and my boy likes the mortar and grout. I literally have to watch him every second when we're in the room currently being done (the hallway is nearly impossible). He gets so mad when I stop him... They are insane but we love them 😄

Cinnie was all about leaves and rocks/ concrete pavers when she was little. She'd lick the pavers. Little weirdo grew out of it. She's still a bit weird😂🐶🐾

Omg my puppy tries to chew on rocks! I puppy proofed my house pretty easily. The back yard is something new every week😂

Yes and I use it for good lol throw 2 leaves in a warm bubble bath and he will stay in for an hour trying to catch them!

My old tzu used to eat worms, too! I saw him dig shallow holes in the yard a lot but then one day I saw him pulling things out of it... I couldn't believe my eyes!

Gotta be careful with this behavior. Even harmless leaves like maple can be covered in harmful fungi or bacteria.

Oscar use to eat worms and leaves. He grew out of this but he still brings a leaf or two inside during the Fall.
Paisley likes to play with bugs and leaves. I think she thinks they are her friends.

Yes! My puppy dives onto any leaf like its prey and attacks it. I’m constantly removing them from her mouth.

Dice doesn't eat leaves but he is obsessed w eating tree bark/wood chips from the sidewalk. I don't get it but I do feel like it's a bit more common when I'm feeding him less...

Yessssss!!!! Ours is almost three months, and gets SO distracted with the leaves, grass, dirt. Apparently it’s better than her $20 treats! 😂😂😂

My girl Tiny loves to tear up the leaves and she ate them at first, but now she just tears them up. She's more into chewing/eating limbs and tree bark. I had to look it up and apparently the bark and limbs contain antioxidants that are good for them?? I still limit her as much as possible, but it's hard to stop it completely...😋
