Im seeing lots of posts about Progression mods.
Is it good? Does it need 1.7 to run properly (1400 mods?)
Does it remove all your other mods?

Ai shouldn't be allowed in this community, it has turned project zomboid into something gross, it has affected other games i enjoyed too, and the mods are giving no pushback at all, seemingly they're all for it.

I wanted to take a look at the Progression modpack I've been seeing bc some of the mods look cool. This is how its going.
I started in the animal stage as Ñobalban about 3 in game years ago and I didn't really understand what I was doing so I'm still in that stage.
So around 2 years in I gained my first pawns I kept and didn't eat named Lemur, he was a fairly good one to get too, he stayed at the camp building/cooking while I gathered and hunted and when we had to move settlements I honored him by naming the new one Lemur's Lake. We also got two other pawns a little bit after, Purple and NA (I didn't know their name). This third year's winter has been fairly harsh on us. Coming home from an unsuccessful hunt I saw Purple collapsed by the lake, carrying him back to the cave I saw NA dead due to malnutrition. Obviously we had to eat her, and soon Purple, who died of hypothermia.
Now weakened by the loss of half of my tribe we were forced to stay indoors due to an ocular tree attack. Three days locked inside Lemur decided to shoot his shot and flirt with Ñobalban, which obviously I said yes, the mood buff is nice. I immediately made plans for a double bed which required me to go outside to get wood... That's when tragedy struck. A manhunter Giagantalope was outside the safer exit, waiting. It pushes into the doorway, Lemur jumps to action while I throw wood spikes at it but it was no use. The beast ripped Lemur's head off, immediately killing him.
Needless to say, he did get a grave. No way I'm eating him after all that.

Here is a blade that gets more powerful, with the more kills you acquire. Level up through 4 different tiers, to unlock the god blade. It can siphon energy from your enemies to heal you as well. Here is the link: Soul Blade

Posting AI art and mods is incredibly disrespectful to every artist and coder who has ever posted here, it doesn’t add anything of value to this community or any other
Can this subreddit finally do the common sense thing and ban ai

I decided to give the progression mod pack a try to test out 1.7, and enjoying it so far. But when it came to choosing the fog of war mechanic I thought it would be cool at first but hate it now 4 years into the colony but I have no idea what mod is going this. Can someone let me know so I can disable it? Tried searching through the mods but it’s tough with how many there is.

I get attached to my colonists, and sometimes losing one makes me reach for dev mode. I wanted another way to bring them back, so I made NoMoreDevMode / Earned Resurrection.
When a colonist dies, you can get a combat-focused questline inspired by Ideology’s relic hunts. Follow the clues, survive the final mission, and recover a resurrector mech serum.
Defaults are 3 leads + a final mission, with configurable delays, cooldown, and optional DLC encounters. No DLC required. Supports 1.6 and 1.7; requires Harmony.
Hope you enjoy it! I’d love to hear your feedback.

I like to organ harvest useless new recruits, tribals, and critically sick pawns, because I can reuse the organs or sell them for big profits. However, my doctor, no matter always gets upset about it, getting a mood debuff. Like, why? You're only removing the right lung, right kidney, and either heart or liver from someone that you've grown close to, but they're on their deathbed, so it's a mercy kill, so why are you sad?! This dead person feeds you for weeks, (In a literal and non literal way) you should be happy!!!

Looking for something that lets me expand my prison besides just prison cells and give my prisoners a courtyard/living areas etc while still have doors on their cells and security measures etc. Any mod recommendations or ways to do this otherwise?

Brand new to the game, caught a feral person eating all my berries, captured them as a prisoner. Cant tame them but they have a Slave Value.
Slave trader just came to town but I cant seem to sell? Am i missing something?

Maybe it's only for a DLC. That goes onto the board of things i thought would come with Base RimWorld when i bought it.

Hallo liebe Community,

Hey everyone! I've played around 200 hours of vanilla Kenshi with all the DLCs so far, and I've realized that I'm not really into building large colonies. I much prefer running a small group of 6–10 characters, basically a specialized task force that relies on advanced technology, upgraded weapons, and tactical combat.
I'd love to do a special forces / elite mercenary kind of roleplay, but vanilla Rimworld feels pretty lacking in content for this playstyle
What mods would you recommend to make this kind of playthrough more interesting? I'm looking for mods that fit the small, highly trained squad concept that go on to interesting, high action missions, rather than the usual base-building and army-recruiting gameplay

Hello nerds, let's try this again.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3823199976
Further to my last initial post uploading the first version of the Boots on the Rim mod, I've fixed a lot of issues, added many more features, and much more. I've had some more time to work on the visuals and make some changes after doing some more playtesting.
This is a fully functional 3D implementation of the game. Time, events, weather, etc., all run normally. There are some options to change the way combat works to make it (in my opinion) more satisfying, as well as toggles for almost anything you can think of.
Thank you very much to the guys at IsoRim (https://github.com/kndzio/IsoRim) for giving their stuff the MIT license. I used their 3D models in place of the majority of items in the game, as the ones I made were hit and miss most of the time.
As always, there's the AI question. Yeah, I was heavily AI-assisted, but it wasn't just vibe-coded either. If that's not your thing, then move on. No one is forcing you to play anything. If it becomes too much of an issue, then I'll change the flair, but as I said, it isn't just vibe-coded.
I will also upload the full codebase to GitHub in the near future. Look out for new features soon.
Cheers
