Everybody from this lowly minion to the richest man on the planets knows taxes are a sewer hole of theft and corruption.

Everyone with a wit of sense avoids any taxes they don't have to pay.

Just for clarity. The top 1% currently pay 40.4% of all federal income taxes. Fact.

The bottom 50% of earners pay 3% of all federal income taxes. Fact

Paying or not paying taxes isn't the crux of the issue. Fraud, theft and outright corruption on every level of government is the real place the rubber meets the road.

Stop the theft, fraud and corruption and taxes can be reduced on every level.

Thank you. God bless.

Percentage of income tax paid into system not percentage taken out of pay just to be clear. 37% of your income, not including deductions when making over 660k sure hurts a lot less than 10% of someone making 12k Not to mention the 1% holds most of their wealth in assets, not income so their true wealth comes from stocks, property and other assets that they have a letiny of ways to avoid tax on, like taking low interest loans out to purchase more assets to increase their wealth without have to sell these assets avoiding capital gains tax.

The top 1% are responsible and main offenders for the wage theft, fraud, and corruption. Your logic is "Stop the corruption, but the ones that are corrupt and committed the wage theft aren't corrupt"

Yes, lawlessness is the issue.

We found out the hard way when businesses were heavily taxed in the past. That's why hardly ever see anything made in the US anymore. Those businesses went overseas and all the jobs they provided.

Ahhh. Common sense. Sadly there is very little of that here and now.

They went overseas because Americans demand higher wages. That's literally it.

Preach. Wonder if military service should be a prerequisite for public office

It should be a requirement for everyone. No deferments unless a military doctor washes you out. Two years active, four years reserve.

If the military was used defensively, I’d agree. But with the useless wars, the youth shouldn’t be forced to go to war.

And with that thought process we have what we have. Uneducated, undisciplined and basically unemployable thirty year olds handing out coffee and calling themselves baritas while others flipping burgers.

Granted the military isn't for everyone but it has a valusble place in every country.

Uneducated and undisciplined comes down to growing up, that is their education system and parenting. It’s not lack of military. I spent 10 years in the military, not a single military buddy I have that I keep in contact with has a better career than me or my college friends.

With that being said, I didn’t say they shouldn’t join the military. I said they shouldn’t be forced to fight in useless wars. If America would calm down with the pointless conflicts, my opinion would be different.

Do you know how much that would cost? You bitch about military spending now.

1) Where did I complain about military spending?

2) It was merely a suggestion. Since current military enlistment goals are being met a good portion would be considered un-desirable anyways.
