Vivek's campaign is done and I'm glad

What Vivek did to Amy, using her abusive mother in a campaign ad, is horrible straight up. But it is also a good thing that he did this because it proved he would've been a horrible governor. Absolutely no morals in doing whatever it takes to win. This is who he is. He would've destroyed Ohio if he won, ruining the economy and destroying the land to fill it with data centers, and now Ohio finally has a chance to grow again.

I also genuinely can not believe he doubled down on the campaign ad. He could've salvaged his campaign if he just apologized and denounced it. Instead, he clarified that he was responsible for the ad and wouldn't apologize. Republicans genuinely will never apologize for their actions.

That being said, do not get complicit. Go vote for Amy regardless to ensure her victory

Isn’t Ohio a red state. Aren’t people who vote red going to vote for him regardless of what he has done? Isn’t that what they did when they voted for Trump in ‘24? I hope Vivek doesn’t win, but we will have to wait and see what kind of Ohio shows up this time.

Ohio has a lot of “racists” and those “racists” won’t vote for him because of one simple reason. She has most of the younger voters too on both sides, especially considering how heavy someone like Nick Fuentes is pushing against him.

As I said a while ago: Ramasmarmy may lose but for the wrong reason. He'll lose because he's dark skinned and not Christian, when he should lose cause he's a slimy asshole.

It's going to come down to racism against brown people versus misogyny. We'll see which wins out.

In all gubernatorial elections over the past 8 years women have actually had a higher win rate than men on a per-candidate basis, in both parties for both primaries and generals. It's a small margin in the Republican party, but a very wide one in the Democratic party. There are still far fewer women candidates overall, but when they do get on the ballot they perform very well.
