Crackatoa last night needed a ride to go get some food ( i have a soft spot, if people need food I'll help ) told her I couldn't drive but I can Uber her, and she'll pay me back half of it when she got paid that night. So Uber was $30 trip there 10 minutes to grab shit and trip back.
This morning I hit her up " hey can you transfer that money today ill go write down my account number for you "
I come down stairs and meet her in the kitchen/dining area and hand it to her. She's busy paying rent ( "i can pay some because im not here a full week " ) then she starts typing in my account number as I'm reading it out to her and watching her type it in incase she tries to play games and say i gave her the wrong number.
After she's done that she enters 15 dollars and clicks confirm ( our banking apps have 2 confirmation screen ) and says it should be in my account..
while she's standing there talking i glance at her phone and see its still on the second screen and ask her " are you going to press confirm "
I get back a hesitant reply stating " yeah sorry " and she confirms it and her demeanor changes instantly as if she had blown her money on drugs and drink and realized she has nothing left.
AITA who should of just let $15 go? or am I right to have asked for it because their "food" was most likely drugs?
The food they went and got was just weetbix and a big pack of instant Maggi noodles.
They said the door was locked and they couldn't get in??
How did you get the weetvix and noodles if the door was locked
Edit: she went with her "brother" (the other person staying) and claimed it was his house.
