I'm guessing this was recycled from somewhere else - the red splotch of a censor job is very likely done from a mobile/tablet screenshot edit

It's no different from TV and radio bleeping. But because of social media and youtube they treat the entire internet like they have to bleep.

I'm against censorship of all kinds, however having an agreement with a broadcasting company about what can cannot be done, in a legal arrangement company to company, as well as following government guidelines and restrictions is one thing

Self censoring a video you made on your phone in your room under the hope that the mystic algorithm du jour won't decide you're not worth paying or promoting - a system entirely controlled by the provider (youtube/google). This type of power dynamic is very much a different thing

Even worse when impressionable minds watch said content, to which they then conclude that this is the "correct" thing to do, which only exacerbates the problem
