Somebody never got the Game Boy (its two words) Pocket and it shows. 2 AA batteries was all it took

Gameboy Color took 2 AA batteries as well. My mom got sick of buying me batteries so one year I got rechargeable for Christmas.

the pocket didn't have back light either. You're thinking of the the pocket light which only came out in Japan.

you can say what you want, thank god I didnt have the brick that was the OG game boy. 4 AA, green screen, huge. Meawhile my pocket took 2 AAs, had a grey screen and I even had the see-through version. God I loved that thing
