I am 41 and had to turn in rough drafts that were hand written during class time because we didn't have computers/laptops in the classroom and then turn the final draft in typed.
This is why I am like how do the teachers not know how to combat AI, take time in class to have the kids hand write rough drafts and turn them in for completion points leading up to the final draft being due. Some might be able to use AI a little still to get an outline of stuff but having to hand write in class without a computer open will cut a lot of cheating problems out.
Probably cause the kids can't write anymore and instead of the world being like 'oh shit, kids can't read and write anymore, that's bad' we're like 'oh well, what's the next shiny thing?'
