When it comes Marvel Comics, Thomas Sheppard/Speed, the reincarnated son of Scarlet Witch and Vision, barley get any type of representation, despite being equally important to to his twin brother William Kaplan/Wiccan.

Wiccan has his own comics, his own personal connections to characters like Teddy Altman/Hulking, etc.

This is the most representation we got with Thomas and I am having fun with it.

I am enjoying VisionQuest and watching Thomas journey with his father as they both discover their identity and relationship years after Wanda created the hex in WestView.

Film/Television I know I'm 5 years late, but Marvel struck absolute gold with Shang Chi

1.0k Upvotes

I hit massive superhero fatigue and the only thing I watched after Loki S1 was Fantastic Four and No Way Home, which were great. But with the release of Doomsday coming out, I have been rewatching almost everything. Skipped Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, and Helstrom each after a couple episodes. But I just got to Shang Chi and this might be the best Marvel project they've ever done. I do with there was less cgi in fight scenes but meh. The creatures in Ta Lo, the fight scenes, Trevor, Wong and Abomination, Katy is such a relatable character. I love just about everything this movie brought to the table

Film/Television Besides both Daredevil and the Punisher, what are your thoughts on the other four Marvel TV shows produced by Netflix?

Luke Cage (2016-2018).
Iron Fist (2017-2018).
Jessica Jones (2015-2019).
The Defenders (2017).

Sadly, I still haven't seen all of these Marvel shows yet! I remember watching and loving the first season of the Iron Fist series when I was preteen. But that was a decade ago! All I remember of the show was that the main character came back home assuming to be welcomed by those who thought he was dead for years, only to be accused of lunacy, casted out and locked away!

Comics Jocasta and Ultron were never a couple in the comics. She rejected him like the majority of his other “children” (with the exception of Ultronica). Spoiler

• Upvotes

It’s interesting how different Jocasta, and Ultron’s origin is different from the comics (albeit obviously a lot of the MCU lore isn’t an accurate representation of the source material).

Ultron was created by Hank Pym, Jocasta was created by Ultron as his ideal bride (He based her brain patterns on Janet Van Dyne’s, much like Pym modeled Ultron’s brain patterns based on his own).

Also, her name is Jocasta not “Jacosta”.

• As good as his main suit looks but yeah ngl now that i see the diffrence, holy does the right concept be looking quite of an upgrade compared to the left one. even tho it's quite of a missed opportunity that it's not his next suit.
