This orange +1 warhammer has a boxy shape, with black face plates that have round dents in the center. The handle is wrapped in an eerie pale green ribbon, the end of which looks like a music note.

Attacks with this warhammer do an additional 1d6 thunder damage.

While attuned to this warhammer: as a bonus action, you can make the warhammer play music you are familiar with, but without any lyrics. This gives anyone within 30 ft a +2 bonus to Performance rolls that benefit from the music (like singing or dancing), and lasts for as long as you maintain concentration.

Activate-Play Music [one-action] concentrate; Duration Sustained; Effect You make the mace play music you are familiar with, but without any lyrics. This gives a +2 circumstance bonus to Performance rolls that are supported by the music within a 30 ft emanation, like dancing or singing. You do not need to be holding the mace to sustain the music, as accompanying performances that benefit from the bonus will also sustain the effect.

Wondrous (Cloak, Cursed) – Rare (1430 gp, requires attunement)

This broad, heavy, green cloak is covered in moss. The lining is beige, and the clasp is a pale blue flower.

While attuned to this cloak: while the cloak’s hood is up, you can attempt to hide as a moss covered rock, and have advantage on the roll if there is moss covered rocks to hide amongst, but disadvantage if you are in a non-moss including environment (like a city or the arctic); when you eat a meal (eating for at least 10 minutes) that is a different primary flavor from your last meal, you gain a +2 bonus to a specific modifier based on the primary flavor of the meal.

This lasts for 8 hours or until you eat another meal.

• Bitter: A +2 bonus to Intelligence rolls.

• Salty: A +2 bonus to Wisdom rolls.

• Sour: A +2 bonus to Constitution rolls.

• Spicy: A +2 bonus to Dexterity rolls.

• Sweet: A +2 bonus to Charisma rolls.

• Umami: A +2 bonus to Strength rolls.

Cursed. This cloak is cursed. While cursed, you have disadvantage on saves against effects to put you to sleep, your current hit points are treated as half rounded down for the Sleep spell and similar effects, and if you spend an hour in darkness, you must make a DC 15 Constitution save (at disadvantage and without the cloak’s bonus if it would apply) or you will fall asleep.

143P - Mossloax Item 12

This broad, heavy, green cloak is covered in moss. The lining is beige, and the clasp is a pale blue flower.

When you first invest in this cloak, it fuses to you. While it’s in your possession, you feel more drowsy. Whenever you make a save against an effect with the Sleep trait, ignore this cloak’s bonus if it wouuld apply, and roll twice and use the worse result. This is not a misfortune effect, and trumps any fortune effects that would apply.

Additionally, if you spend an hour in darkness, you must make a DC 29 Will save as the cloak casts sleep as a 4th-rank primal spell. Regardless of the results, you are immune to this effect for 10 minutes.

Activate-Imitate Mossy Rock [one-action] concentrate, manipulate; Effect You pull the hood over your head and the cloak close around you and attempt to make yourself appear to be a moss covered rock of the same size so you can hide in place. Make a Hide roll, with a +2 item bonus from the cloak. If there is at least one other moss covered rock of equal or greater size adjacent to your space, roll twice and take the better result, which counts as a Fortune effect.

Activate-Flavor Bonus [free-action] manipulate; Trigger You spend at least 10 minutes eating a meal; Requirements The meal’s primary flavor is different from your last meal’s primary flavor; Effect You gain a +2 status bonus to an ability modifier depending on the primary flavor of the meal, which lasts for 8 hours or until you activate this ability again.

• Bitter: Bonus to Intelligence.

• Salty: Bonus to Wisdom.

• Sour: Bonus to Constitution.

• Spicy: Bonus to Dexterity.

• Sweet: Bonus to Charisma.

• Umami: Bonus to Strength.

F231 - Katana of Crimson Spirits

Weapon (Longsword, Sentient) – Rare (5613 gp, requires attunement)

This red & blue +1 katana longsword has a dark gray handle wrapped in red and blue twisted cloth. The sword’s bone white tsuba is shaped like a skull, while the blade is blue with bone white fullers and a red blade edge.

Attacks with this sword do an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.

The sword is sentient, has normal hearing and vision to 30 ft, understands common, and has Intelligence 10, Wisdom 10, and Charisma 10. It can evolve, and will do so when it has decided its wielder is ready.

While attuned to this sword: you have a +2 bonus to Deception rolls; you gain a hover speed of 10 ft; and while afflicted with a status condition, you have advantage on attacks with this sword, which would cancel out a disadvantage on attacks.

This sword has 4 charges, regaining 1d3+1 after a long rest, and can be used to cast the following spells:

• Azure Nukiuchi (1 or more charges): As part of an attack with this sword, you make the blade glow blue, giving the attack an additional 3d6 slashing damage. You can use additional charges to increase the damage by 1d6 per charge.

• Crimson Iaijutsu (1 charge): As a reaction, when you are attacked by an enemy you were unaware of (such as by surprising you or being hidden), you are able to make a perfect quick draw strike on the attacker. Make an attack using this sword with advantage on the attacker, and if you had not moved on your last turn, this attack does an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.

• Night Slash (1 or more charges): As part of an attack with this sword, you make the blade glow with dark energy, giving the attack an additional 3d6 necrotic damage. You can use additional charges to increase the damage by 1d6 per charge.

• Dead Soul’s Blade (4 charges): As an action, the sword summons the silent spirit of a fallen enemy to protect you, which lasts for 8 hours or until one of its effect are triggered. The first time you would drop to 0 hit points as a result of taking damage, you instead drops to 1 hit point as the spirit protects you, and if the creature that caused the damage is within reach of this weapon, you can use your reaction to make an attack on the creature with advantage. If you would be subjected to an effect that would kill you instantaneously without dealing damage, the spirit protects you from the effect before dissipating.
