Good day characterdrawing !
There has been an influx of reports for off-topic posts and suspicions of AI use in RF's. There's a few things us mods want to clarify.
OFF-TOPIC:
Your post is off-topic when it doesn't relate to a ttrpg system. If you're looking for art for a book you're writing or a podcast you're running this is not the place. LFA's are free work for ttrpg enthusiasts however that also means that the artist keeps the rights to the work. If you need the art for a project that will be public and you will need the rights you will need to pay for the art. To keep this from becoming a commission focused sub, posts like that are not allowed as we cannot moderate which passion project will remain private and which are for the broader public.
And no, exposure is not valid payment.
AI SUSPICIONS:
This sub is firmly anti-AI. We are also anti-witch hunt. If you see a post that makes you think the artist is using AI please report it and include *why* you think it's AI. If you want to discuss your suspicions please use mod mail and we'll get back to you. Do not call the person in question out in the comments.
We know it's getting harder to spot the difference these days but we want to prevent unnecessary witch hunts and losing real artists because of them.

It took a bit longer to set up than expected, but thanks to the holiday break we've now got OC Mondays working, to kick off the new year! Starting this Monday and every Monday your original art and characters have a new place to show off!
How it works:
OC Monday tag will be allowed during this time

I kept it pretty straight forward for what seemed like a no nonsense mercenary, looking off into the distance wary for the next fight.
The helmet has some boar like shapes wrought into it with some tusks, nose and ear shapes.
I thought this would keep it within the bounds of acceptable for the mercenary company but add some recognition for her prowess/ reputation.
Hope you like it!

Hello. I would like to request a digital drawing for my Order of Scribes Wizard Renard Crane. I have painted all the references myself, but I have no skill in digital drawing and would like a digital artwork. He uses Origami to cast all his spells, I have also added faux origami folds in his clothing design.
Even though he is a wizard, his robes are designed to be practical when traveling, since he is a Field Archivist/Researcher, that is why he has leather boots and the clothes aren't very flowy. His colors are warm greys, beiges or even parchment, combined with dark cool browns and a bit of gold for the clasp near his neck.
The only part I am not 100% happy with is the scroll holder, so ideas here would be appreciated, or it can just be removed entirely.
I have added a 2/3 body reference, a portrait and a few early sketches I made for design. Thank you for taking the time to consider my post!

Arcane is an half wood elf, half witch. For body reference: they're afab, tho they have a very androgynous style/face. They travel around the continent either to help people and staying in towns or cities for a while, or to take care of their own matters.
I forgot to add they usually have some eyebags, its just a detail.
Feel free to ask any questions !

So I'm going to be playing in a monsterhearts campaign for the 1st time and I'd love to have a good ref for my werewolf in his wolf form. His name is Maddock, he's 18 years old, a natural born werewolf and the son of a human dad and a werewolf mom. He and his 5 siblings (all werewolf) all struggle with the usual teenage problems ontop of being a werewolf. My guy is happy to be a werewolf, but is a bit scared of hurting people he likes.
He's a big metalhead and plays in a band

TL;DR: There's a moth lady in my mech who calls me dumb~ 😄 !
Hello again!
OK so long story short, our DM is planning on running a LANCER campaign.
Essentially, giant mechs set in the future. DM gave me permission to have an AI co-pilot character in addition to my player character. We're playing a sort of prequel game, so we're not exactly going to be following alot of the lore established in Lancer.
I'm piloting a Gorgon, and Medea is the ai I found inside of it.
ALRIGHTY:
BACKGROUND:
M3-D34 (or Medea, as she prefers to be called), is a strange NHP Jason (that's my PC. will likely make an LFA request for him in a later post) found within an even stranger mech.
She does not fit any of the currently known NHP models, and her avatar is... well, Jason could only explain it as alien. Quiet, somewhat cold towards others, but ultimately rather protective and fond of her (somewhat idiotic) pilot, her knack for keeping him out of trouble led to the two quickly becoming partners in crime.
There is also the risk of when she Cascades (think if a computer crashed) that her protectiveness would be amped up to an 11...
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE/GEAR:
Personality:
Reserved, somewhat blunt (i think), but ultimately kind. ...and secretly a little insane.
Treats her pilot like a kid if they're being too dumb.
IDK how to do a mood board just yet, so I hope its alright that I added pictures that I've been imagining her design to be based around.
"Jason. I'm not going to say, 'yeet.'"

it's a repost of this post because I try to understand how posts in reddit work. Mods, feel free to moderate, if needed.

Another test to try to draw more quickly, this time I tried to finish the character in 2 hours but the screen light threw me for a loop, so it ended up taking 2.5 hours. Pretty happy, though, and it was fun to draw a more contemporary character!

I opted for a more dynamic action pose, built strong but light on his toes.
He could be mid attack or partway through a routine.
The bladed scarf and additional flowing fabrics in the outfit would accentuate movement while dancing and act as distractions mid combat.
I added a ceremonial dagger to the waistband as a utility piece of kit. It may also serve as another distraction for enemies unfamiliar with the fighting style. Tricking those who assume the colourful scarf isn't a threat.
Let me know what you think!

"Lights and music, perfumes and colors. Morrigan was overwhelmed by the hall, surrounded by people now unrecognizable in their magnificient dresses, unsure on where to rest her eyes.
Surely not on Lord Oliver Carter, elegant like never before, as he entered the room with his companion to join the other couples in opening the dance; that just emphatized her being there, alone and confused. She felt a knot in her stomach.
Morrigan had never been to a ball before. How should she act? She had read some books about it, and - no. Morrigan wasn't at that ball, but Penelope Leaves was. Morrigan, still, had never been.
Foolish thoughts, she said to herself. She wouldn't let them ruin what could be her only occasion to enjoy such a festivity.
She would let herself go, and maybe Morrigan and Penelope both could have some fun."

Backstory: A Stupid Long Time Ago in the middle of Nowhere, Space, The Evil Chaos Deity Unicron created a Herald, small but strong of spark to do his bidding. This was Dead End. And Dead End served well as a Herald of Unicron, until he was given a mission to destroy the sacred artifact the Enigma of Combination. Accidentally using the device, Dead End was bonded with the small Autobots Spin Out and Bomb Out into a Combiner who had no name. In the process, Dead End's Energon was almost completely purged of Unicron's influence, and for the first time in his life, Dead End knew unity and kindness. He asked his two bondmates if they could teach him what it means to be a good person, and took the name Crash Out as he locked away the last speck of Dark Energon within him, behind five separate seals, just in case one day it would be needed.
Appearance: Like most Cybertronians, Crash Out is a mechanical being, but he and his 'siblings' are all around 8 to 9 feet tall normally, the size of freakishly large, but humanly possible, humans. Crash Out's form is much different to what it used to be, resembling Starscream to a degree, although around half his size and slimmer, sleeker, based on an F-22 instead of an F-15. His color scheme is a darker gunmetal grey than most, as well as amethyst purple accents and charcoal black around his hands, feet, thighs, and upper arms. He keeps the Autobot Symbol on each of his wings, and just next to it is the symbol of the Wreckers. But scattered around his body are six pieces of a yellow insignia that he can never fully burn away.
Personality: Crash Out chooses to act the fool, to act somewhat crazy, almost like a class clown, as if he is afraid of tension, of seriousness, but always tries to put the wisdom of age behind his foolery. But every now and then his facade breaks, more often around people who know his secret past, and he reveals a more severe, serious side. A side that knows true chaos and destruction, and doesn't want to see it happen again. The millennia long civil war is nothing compared to Crash Out's former master, and he never wants to see that bot again. But to most of his coworkers, Crash Out is Jovial, comical, insufferable in a loving way.
Equipment: Although he can remove his Wings to flip them into swords, Crash Out prefers to use a triple barrel gatling gun, held in both hands or carried on his back, as it is also the weapon he uses while in Vehicle Mode. He feels it gives him a sense of Presence his size normally lacks.
