Giveaway [Feedback Wanted] Help Shape GG Play Now + Win a Share of $60 AUD in Steam Gift Cards!
Ever spend longer looking for a game to play than actually playing one?
Thatโs the problem Iโm trying to solve with GG Play Now (GGPN) โ a game discovery platform designed to help you find something you actually want to play, whether you're gaming solo, playing with friends, or looking for free games and demos.
I'm building the site and want honest feedback from gamers to understand what works, what doesn't, and how I can make finding your next game easier.
To encourage people to give it a try, I'm running a giveaway with $60 AUD in Steam gift cards across 6 winners!
๐ The Prizes
- 1 ร $25 AUD Steam gift card
- 2 ร $10 AUD Steam gift cards
- 3 ร $5 AUD Steam gift cards
That's $60 AUD in total prizes across six winners.
๐น๏ธ How to Enter
- Visit https://ggplaynow.app/
- Try the different modes of game finder. Experiment with the easy and more involved ways of finding games, including the Game Class quiz.
- Share meaningful feedback either in the comments on this Reddit post or in the Discord server: https://discord.gaminggridin.com/
Each person can submit only one entry. Please choose either Reddit or Discord for your feedback, not both.
What Feedback Am I Looking For?
- Did you find a game you'd genuinely consider playing?
- Which way of finding games worked best for you?
- What felt good, intuitive, or useful?
- Was anything confusing, frustrating, broken, or missing?
- What would make you want to use GG Play Now again?
You don't need to answer every question. Just share a few honest thoughts about your experience.
Constructive criticism is absolutely welcome! If something sucks, tell me what and why. If you couldn't find anything worth playing, that's useful feedback too.
Low-effort responses like "looks cool" or "terrible site" without any explanation won't qualify. I'm looking for meaningful feedback that can help me improve the platform.
How Winners Will Be Selected
- The giveaway runs for 14 days from the date this post goes live.
- Six winners will be selected at random from eligible entries containing meaningful feedback.
- Each person may enter only once, through Reddit or Discord.

Who Can Participate?
The giveaway is open worldwide, where prize delivery is supported, subject to applicable regional restrictions.
For winners outside Australia, I may need to add you as a Steam friend and wait at least three days before sending a gift, depending on the gifting method and Steam's requirements. Gift card codes may be provided where available and supported in your region.
Please make sure you can receive the prize in your region before entering.
Help Me Make Game Discovery Better
I'm the person building GG Play Now, and my goal is to make finding your next game less of a chore. Your honest feedback, whether positive or critical, will help me decide what to improve next.

Join the Discord: https://discord.gaminggridin.com/
Thanks for giving it a try!
Disclosure: I'm the developer of GG Play Now. This giveaway is intended to collect genuine feedback and improve the platform. Participation is subject to applicable laws and community rules.

News The fuck man, bioware shut down mass effect cancelled
I hate that man, first monolith productions with their legendary nemesis system and now the rpg goat bioware
I know they are not the same as they used to be, especially with veilguard and Andromeda but still this could be the end of both the franchises
The fuck are these publishers first buying a great studio and then closing it ??

Now we can play all ps2 and PS3 games on ps5 at 4k 60 fps! It is hella crazy that sony didn't give us the backward compatibility support of ps2 and PS3 but now you can play em smoothly without any issues. Xbox, wii and nintendo games can also be played on ps5 smoothly now this is some play has no limits shi.

Announcement ๐ฎ๐ณ Connect India: The Nintendo Mission by Gaming Grid
Finding Nintendo consoles and games offline in India shouldn't feel like a treasure hunt.
Whether you're looking for a Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Nintendo DS, GBA cartridges, physical game cartridges, or other Nintendo accessories, we want to make it easier for Indian gamers to find genuine offline sellers in their own cities.
That's why we're starting Connect India: The Nintendo Mission.
The goal is simple: Gaming Grid wants to build a community-driven network connecting Nintendo gamers with offline game stores across India through our Reddit community and Discord server.
We're starting with Nintendo, and we want the community to help us map out sellers state by state.
How you can help:
- Know a local game store that sells Nintendo consoles or games? Share its name, location and contact details.
- Have contacts with offline sellers in your city or state? We'd love to connect with them.
- Purchased a Switch, DS, GBA cartridge or physical Nintendo game from a local shop? Share your experience and feedback.
- Own a store or know someone who does? Ask them to reach out to Gaming Grid.
We're looking for contacts from every Indian state and union territory, so even if you're from a smaller city where Nintendo products are hard to find, your contribution matters.
Our aim is to help gamers discover local sellers, check product availability, compare options and communicate with stores before making a purchase. We also want to collect community feedback to help buyers make more informed decisions.
One important thing: Gaming Grid is building a connection between gamers and sellers. We'll encourage buyers to verify product condition, authenticity, warranty and payment terms directly with the seller before purchasing.
Let's make buying Nintendo games and consoles in India easier, one state at a time.
If you have a contact, store recommendation or buying experience to share, drop it in the comments or contact the Gaming Grid team.
Let's connect India's Nintendo community. ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฎ

Question / Help Whatโs the difference between ray traced reflections and these reflections on the GameCube?
Might be a dumb question to ask but I recently started playing Mario sunshine on real hardware and these reflections look like more than just screen space or lower poly models they even have the coins reflecting in the water.
Now it is lower res than the in game geometry but even ray tracing can be if you lower the settings i truly donโt understand the difference between this and ray tracing unless somehow ray tracing is less taxing than actually rendering a whole lower res scenario that was possible back then with simpler games?
