Controversial my fuckin nuts, put this on every TV channel and streaming service in the US and play it every ad break on YouTube. No one wants to hug people they just do it because they feel like they should.

And maybe also a PSA about all the aunts that know you don't like hugs and is going to do it anyway but has to give a "I know you don't like hugs so heres some emotional manipulation to make it worse" like we tolerate it from family and you know that.

Ah yes nothing says normal like telling someone if they don't do it they aren't well-adjusted. Society works best when we make everyone conform.

Are you saying that disliking physical contact is normal? Because I don't know how else to read that.

And unironically yes. If people conform society functions better. You can strawman that if you want but I think it should be self-evident that everyone conforming to central ideas like "murder is bad" and "don't steal" and "everyone should have equal rights" makes for a better society. Don't you?
