My mother used to pinch my ass to get a rise out of me, so often that I subconsciously tucked my bum in for years as a teenager whenever she was behind me.

It wasn't a sexual thing. It was a possessive and controlling thing when I was a depressed queer teen. When I told her I hated it she acted all hurt and offended. Then, a few years later she made a point of telling everyone she didn't like hugs. And everyone said "onay" and she seemed annoyed that no one raised a stink.

The behavior astounds.
