If you think this is controversial you might have a boundary problem.

If there is one thing Ireland is very good at, it is making public service announcements that get the point across. Irish government PSA's have always been very blunt and to the point.

Didn't they also make that one ad where like I bunch of elementary schoolers get killed buy a car spinning towards them?

Yup. Dude crashes over a wall and the car rolls over an entire primary school class. Amazingly, they don't even cut before the point of impact, though obviously the "impact" is not actually real and they clearly just got the kids to lie down face-down and then edited the footage of the roll together with it to give the impression that the car was rolling over the kids. But the fact is they still showed a car rolling over an entire elementary school class.

After that aired wasn't there also a massive decrease in reckless driving?

Yup. So clearly, it worked.

They also did "pause before you post" regarding being safe about what you share about kids on social media. It's actually nerve-racking to watch.

I remember seeing that one too! That one is so good because parents don't realize just how much information they're giving out.

Sadly a lot of influencers do, they just don't care. That ad may have convinced some regular people to post less personal info about their kids, but the people who are the real problem just unfortunately won't give a shit.

That's why I love the streamer Pat stares at so much because not only does he not show his kid at all online (the only thing he has ever posted online of his kid was just after his son was born and his own face is photoshopped on his sons) he even goes out of his way to educate his fellow parents about all of the things that he learns about that they have no clue about, including all the dangers. I don't even think him and his wife refer to their son by his legal name but instead a nickname when they're making content. Way more content creators need to be like that especially since a lot of content creators force their kids into content.

NZ also have very direct anti-drink/high driving ads.
