Was matchmaking an issue 10+ years ago? We don't remember matchmaking being such a point of frustration and conversation in older BF and CoD titles. How does it feel like we've gone backwards in the last 5-8 years? SBMM, non-persistant lobbies, same map multiple times in a row, bots, etc... If it ain't broke, don't break it.

Do you agree that this is a relatively new problem? Or are we just blinded by the nostalgia?

My first year on BF6!

​Hi everyone!

I'm trying to unlock these two trophies in Battlefield 6: "1200" and "First Blood 2".

I tried doing them in the Dead Space limited-time mode (Marker Incursion), but I noticed that trophy progress isn't tracking at all.

​I wanted to ask you guys:

​Which specific mode or maps are the easiest and fastest to get them on?

​Do they work in bot modes or do they have to be done against real players?

​Any tips on classes, weapons, or strategies to save my sanity?

Since S5 launch, after match completion, I cannot load into a new match, I get stuck on a loading screen with the splash art for the next match. Attempting to return to main menu achieves the same result. Anyone else come across this?

Hi Guys, this is my EA generated Battlefield 6 "MyYear1AfterActionReport". Kind of cool that they can create this for each player and their closest squad mates. Enjoy!

The new event was disappointing. My own fault for thinking they’ll have actual necromorphs who’ll have body parts fly off when you shoot them like in dead space but no..

Granted it was just an event.

Why don’t the devs put in an actual survival mode. Dino mode from the bf3 days was teased but never delivered and now this. More teasing yet no actual delivery.

Missed the days where you had campaign, multi, coop/survival in a single game release with hardly any micro transactions. Just a solid game.

This game got a sub par campaign, a good multiplayer that got riddled with game pass nonsense and no coop.

Such a shame. And they wonder why there’s such a low player retention rate

Top creators constantly harp on the lack of server browser. Persistent lobbies/servers get mentioned in the same conversation, but they are often mentioned as an afterthought. Which is more important to you, and why?

Im not fully against bf6 adding dead space since they added Area 51 what did we expect? I still wish they added their own aliens though instead of haft the AI’s being regular corrupted hallucinations and corrupted soldiers.

But me seeing this I feel like bf6 is going to pull a cod/rainbow six, adding skins that can sort of belong in the game like the A team, tom Clancy soldier skins, dark void, breachers, etc.

I don’t think they are dumb enough to add non military skins like cod or rainbow six but I feel like they are testing the waters rn.

I give up with these developers. They literally hear what they want to hear. What's the point of trying to communicate with someone who has selective hearing?

Where did all the servers go? There were tons a couple months ago and not a single one populated when I searched today. Devastating, such a good mode!

This was my third game on this mode, I never play redsec but decided to give it a try. Had a lot of fun, like way more than expected. Very reminiscient of the early warzone mini royales. Yall should give it a go. I had no idea I had another respawn in this game, i thought it was over. The fact they give you a gun in the last circle redeploy is clutch! Though i probably couldve got this dork in the field with a sidearm lol. Was he playing with no headphones on??? A win is a win tho...

I have a few I wish to see come to the game. They can keep the modernization going, as they do with a few other in-game models of some IRL weapons. What would you add if you could?

It would be great to be able to use any attachment in the firing range, even those you have not unlocked yet. This would allow you to decide what attachments you want to grind for.

Many casual players don't have anywhere near enough time to rank up every weapon, especially with new weapons constantly being added with new seasons. This might even motivate those players to play more as they are ranking up toward a known goal they've gotten a taste of, rather than blindly ranking up in hopes the future attachments will have the impact they are looking for.

I love MW2 2022 and its DMZ mode, and I was think that if they made an grounded extraction mode that it might be pretty fun, but it is EA and recently they haven't been doing well.

Guys, I need to vent. I've been playing since BF3, and something has been bugging me about BF6's audio, especially after coming from BF1, BFV, and even PUBG.
It's not about the guns sounding "weak." It's about the world feeling dead.

1. ⁠The "Distance" is broken, and the echo is gone.
   
2. ⁠Distant gunfire lacks definition and identity.
   
3. ⁠Other people's guns are whispers.
   
4. ⁠I main Support. When my teammates are laying down fire, their guns sound like toys. But when I get shot at, the hitmarker sound is so loud it deafens me. Why is the sound of my allies fighting for me so quiet, but the "you are hit" ping so aggressive? It kills the teamplay vibe.
   
5. ⁠No "Environment" feedback.
   
6. ⁠I'm not asking for "Boomy" CoD sound.
   
7. ⁠I'm asking for Presence. I want to feel that there's a fight happening over that hill. I want to hear the chaos, not just see icons on a map.
   
8. ⁠Does anyone else feel like the soundscape is just... too clean? Too "digital"? Like they removed the soul of the battlefield to make room for more "clarity"?
   
9. ⁠TL;DR:​ Sound lacks distance, echoes (especially in canyons/cities), and environmental variety. Worse, you can't even tell what gun is firing from a distance anymore. Feels like a flat FPS game, not a grand-scale war. Am I alone here?
