We're getting closer to the launch of WoW Forever on November 4th, and I wanted to share another update on our guild, Slow and Steady!

Over the past few weeks, we've had more than 150 people express interest in joining us for launch, which has been awesome to see. It's been great meeting so many people who are looking for the same kind of WoW experience.

I'm a dad with limited gaming time, and the whole reason I started this guild was to have a place for people who still love WoW but can't dedicate hours to playing every night.

We're going NA Horde PvE, and the idea is pretty simple. Play when you can, level at your own pace, run dungeons together, help each other out, and eventually work our way into endgame content.

There's no expectation to rush to max level, maintain a certain amount of playtime, or worry about falling behind if you can't log in for a few days.

And you definitely don't need to be a dad to join! We've got people from all sorts of backgrounds, including new players, returning players, and longtime WoW veterans.

Even with the group growing, I want to make sure we keep that relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and can enjoy the game without it becoming another responsibility.

Wir erwarten keine 99er Parses und sortieren niemanden wegen eines einzelnen schlechten Logs aus.

Aber wer dauerhaft deutlich unter dem Durchschnitt spielt und keine Entwicklung zeigt, wird es bei uns nicht in den Raidkader schaffen.

Wir wollen eine ambitionierte Community aufbauen, die gleichzeitig das Real Life wertschätzt. Genau deshalb wollen wir in der begrenzten Zeit, die wir in WoW verbringen, auch wirklich durchziehen.

We’re building this guild with the intention of being here for the long haul — not just putting together a launch-week leveling group that disappears a month later.

Our progression raid team will run:

Tuesday / Thursday — 9:00 PM–12:00 AM EST

The goal is simple: clear the content while it’s relevant, build a strong and dependable raid roster, and have a good time doing it.

We’re not trying to turn every raid night into a speedrun or demand that everyone treat WoW like a second job. At the same time, “progression” does mean showing up prepared, learning your class, improving when something isn’t working, and caring about the other 39 people in the raid.

We want players who can wipe on something, figure out why, make an adjustment, and pull it again without the atmosphere turning miserable.

What we’re building:

• Horde guild on the PvE ruleset
• EST-based, but players from any timezone are welcome
• Tues/Thurs progression raiding
• Hybrid Loot Council / DKP system
• Organized crafting and profession network
• Class and raid discussion/resources
• Experienced leadership with years of high-end PvE, Mythic, CE/AotC and Classic guild experience
• A guild website and Discord being actively developed around the community
• A home for both serious raiders and people who simply want a good guild to play WoW with

You do not need to be a progression raider to join <Forever>.

We want a real guild outside of raid nights too — levelers, collectors, PvPers, profession goblins, alt addicts, people chasing Legacy progression, and the players who somehow end up online at 3 AM helping somebody finish a quest.

For the progression roster specifically, we’re interested in players who are reliable, coachable, mechanically competent, and interested in improving together. Previous high-end experience is great, but attitude and consistency matter just as much.

A number of us are planning to push launch pretty aggressively, so there should be people around from the opening minutes onward.

We're a new WoW Forever guild created to cater to Kiwis or anyone else that prefers NZ-friendly raid times.

Playstyle: Casual to semi-hardcore. We will be raiding (hence the emphasis on NZ raid times), but there’s no expectation to rush to 60 to hit the first raid lockout. If you're new to the game, or don't have time to raid, that's fine too - play at your own pace.

📜 Expectations for Wanderlust

• Preparedness: Come with pots, flasks, enchants, sockets filled, and phial/weapon buffs. Be familiar with fights (we’ll do quick overviews and answer questions). There are boss channels in our Discord with all of the relevant information.
• Roster: We use a rotating roster of ~30 players, so you may not be in every fight, and may be sat without having performance issues. We will attempt to spread around vaults and targeted kills for loot as the need arises. If you are not in on a boss, you are still expected to be available (preferably in Discord) just in case we need to pull you in.
• Loot: Distributed based on a variety of factors, never hinging on DPS or HPS alone.

📣 Current Needs

Ideal candidates have recent Mythic experience, a solid understanding of their spec, and a commitment to consistent growth alongside a long-term team.

• DPS - Monk or Warlock preferred
• Exceptional players with plenty of Mythic raiding experience of any spec are always encouraged to apply.

I'm currently living in Sweden, but I've spent most of my WoW years playing on NA servers since I previously lived in the US. All my main characters, achievements, collections, and pretty much all my progress are on NA, so I'd really prefer to stay rather than start over on EU.

The main thing I'm looking for is a Swedish-speaking guild or community playing on NA servers. I'd love to meet some fellow Swedes, make friends, hang out on Discord, and have people to regularly play WoW with.

A little about me:

• Region: NA Retail and probably WoW Forever, playing from Sweden (CET/CEST).
• Playstyle: Mostly casual right now, but I enjoy progressing my characters and getting into harder content.
• Content: Interested in Mythic+, Normal/Heroic raids, and potentially Mythic raiding down the road if I get geared enough and find the right group.
• Schedule: Pretty flexible during the week. Weekends can be difficult because I work two 12-hour shifts.

Hey all,

I've been playing WoW for over 15 years and just started putting together an Alliance guild for Forever on EU-PVP realm. UK-based, so most stuff will happen on UK evenings and weekends, but anyone on EU is welcome. Guild language is English.

We're mostly late twenties/early thirties, chill after-work players, but all ages are welcome.

The plan is simple: we level together from launch, help each other with quests, elites and dungeons, and if someone's getting camped in STV, whoever's nearby goes and sorts it out.

Once people start hitting the higher levels: BG nights, world PvP raids, and our own in-guild duel and arena-style tournaments with gold/loot prizes. We'll be PvE raiding too once raids open, so it's not all about PvP at all!

We're also building the guild bank as a team. Once there's a decent pot, the guild will cover repairs for raids and events. We'll help each other with professions, having resources in the bank etc.

A few things about the vibe:

- New players are all very welcome. Nobody gets crap for not knowing stuff or not having a min-maxed build. We'll have a lot of first-timers joining the guild, so don't be discouraged if you are new!

- Zero tolerance for racism, homophobia or any of that. Instant kick, no discussion.

- Not an RP guild, but I'd appreciate character names that feel like they belong in Azeroth.

Wir, Nerf Inc, sind aktuell auf der Suche nach Verstärkung für unser Mythic Kader. Unser aktueller Progress ist HC clear und 4/8 Mythic. Gebraucht werden DD's, egal ob range oder melee. Gerne mit Offspec, aber nicht zwingend notwendig. Klasse dabei ist egal, ausser Hunter, von denen haben wir schon zu viele, sorry xD (es gibt gefühlt schon eine Warteliste im Raid wer Hunter spielen darf, sofern einer der aktuellen nicht mehr mitraiden würde, warum auch immer).
Unser mittelfristiges Ziel ist es, mit unserem Kader CE zu erreichen, ob wir das diese Season schon hinbekommen, sei dahingestellt ^^

Progress ist uns beim Raiden wichtig, aber Spielspass und ein angenehmes miteinander ebenso. Uns ist wichtig, dass man Sachen, die nicht passen, ansprechen kann und man dabei stehts konstruktiv und respektvoll miteinander bleibt.
Wir raiden zwei Mal die Woche, jeweils Montag und Donnerstag von 20:00 bis 23:00. Invite ist jeweils um 19:45. Austausch findet über unseren Discord statt, wo man sich auch abseits von WoW unterhalten kann ;) Neben dem Raid finden auf dem Discord auch regelmässig M+ Runs statt bei denen man sich anschliessen kann. PVP findet in unserer Gilde nur in kleinem Masse statt, gibt es aber auch. Natürlich gibt es noch mehr rund um den Raid herum zu wissen, aber der Post soll nicht zu trocken zum lesen werden ;D (Lootcouncil, An- Abmeldungen, Raidvorbereitung etc.)

Also, sofern du Mythic raiden willst, eine ambitionierte Spielweise, gutes Klassenverständnis, einen respektvollen Umgang, anständige Charakterpflege und ein funktionierendes Headset an den Tag legst, melde dich doch sehr gerne hier oder über discord (broberhaensli) bei mir :)

I’ve been leading a retail guild since Dragonflight on Stormrage-US, where we’ve achieved multiple server-first Heroic kills.

We’re bringing that experience into Forever, but with a more relaxed approach to raiding.
