I forgot to include these in my last post. What do you think about them?

This isn't great.
I love the idea. I personally use a translucent+rounded theme.
this is not good. imagine someone has a white spreadsheet open, which is filled with text.
that text in the start menu would be basically unreadable.
And that's just the most obvious example i can think of. this would get crushed by anything white with black text. and white alone would make it difficult to read.
Blur is mandatory.

this is just transparency.
Liquid Glass needs refraction.

Exactly this, and, what's wrong with liquid glass anyway? It CANNOT be that bad

conceptually?
nothing.
in practice? Apple, the "good design" company, sucks at design nowadays.

I personally too think Microsoft would follow apple and add some kinda liquid glass equivalent, Unpopular opinion but i really like liquid glass dont know why ppl hate it but it looks beautiful and reminds me of aero and aqua.

I love the enthusiasm, but it kinda looks like Windows Vista and Windows 11 had a baby and it's an abomination.

It looks like seven but with more widgets that consume precious memory and CPU resources.

Microsoft should rip off Snow Leopard. The light dynamics of the UI, shadows, dark metal/plastic windows and skumorphic. Merge Windows XP and Snow Leopard.

It needs more windows 7 ish icons (not the exact ones but inspire by that)
Way more 3D effects, and a more glassy blur behind the transparent windows with the close button glowing, then it will be decent

There should be a big input field for Copilot. And I bet that AI will tailor the desktop layout and style for each user.

Crap. It's almost identical to Windows 11. And it even has rounded corners.

Rounded corners aren't that bad TBH, but it would be cool to be able to disable them.

I hate it but it's way better than whatever Microsoft will come up with.
