Looking for critiques and suggestions!

I've noticed a significant uptick in stolen images lately. This subreddit is OC only, no exceptions.
Please make sure to report any posts which you think break this rule. Even if you're not positive, it's better to submit a report than not. We always review all reports to make sure that we aren't erroneously banning people.

Welcome, /r/wildlifephotography readers!
Equipment is an undeniably important part of wildlife photography, but I've noticed that questions about gear often end up buried by all of the excellent photos that get posted here.
So, I've created this pinned thread as a chance to discuss hardware. There are two main uses that I anticipate, listed in no particular order:
Equipment reviews - What do you shoot with? Do you love it, hate it, or fall somewhere in between? If you want to share your experiences, create a comment and let everyone know what you think. We suggest (but don't require) including photos as well as the prices of your equipment.
Questions Whether you're first starting and are looking to buy a beginner's setup, or just want to know which pro-level lens is best, getting others' opinions can prove valuable. For the best results, include details about what sort of wildlife interests you, as well as your budget.
Feel free to create different top-level comments for each question or review. That helps discussion stay organized.

If you look closely at the first photo you'll see a young bald eagle hiding behind a leaf in a tree in my backyard. In the second and third, he's clearly trying to decide if my Canon RF100-500L is a fish. Upstate New York.
EDIT - Oops, my bad, it's been pointed out that this is a young red tailed hawk. We've also been getting a lot of adult bald eagles in and around our neighborhood, so I misjudged this one as a juvenile...

Following on from my post yesterday about the mammals of Colorado, here are my favourite bird photos I took. Slightly harder to condense to 20, so many more bird species than mammals!

I was lucky enough to go on a three week road trip around Colorado and was blown away by the variety of mammals we managed to see. All taken with Canon R5 and RF100-500

Although the Grass-green Tanager occurs in Peru from Amazonas all the way south to Puno, near the Bolivian border, at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 3,350 meters, I have only managed to see it at Wayqecha, where it comes to bathe and take advantage of the feeders.
Never has a bird been more aptly named in both English and Spanish!
