Nah, I have a mirror, I'm well aware of how bad I look. That's not self-deprecation, that's just truth.
That said, just because I dislike how I look, doesn't necesarily mean I'm objectively ugly. It just means I'm not my type. My wife seems to be attracted to me, so there's that.

It’s always good to acknowledge ways we could be healthier. That said, whether or not you’d care to believe it, there are a lot of people who find you hot exactly as you are now.

I know right? People often don't know the amount of way they can go if they just take care of theirselves decently enough. But that's not their fault. Most of them are either hopeless because they were forced to believe beauty comes from birth or they are just depressed.

Unironically had a moment earlier today where I saw myself in the mirror, and for the first time in a long time I didn't absolutely hate what was staring back.
Like sure there are still some aspects I'd like to improve, but I feel fine and that's better than feeling terrible.

I think it boils down to the fact that I don’t want to fuck myself. Therefore my threshold of attractiveness as it applies to me is much further away.
