Good lord youre ignoring the constant lay offs and closures?

But sure reduction to a few monster sized AAA companies is great!

Im happy for indie companies to show up, but large producers reducing to the level it has is killing creativity.

AAA companies are also a meme lol, indie has been where it's at for a long ass time. Do you think the artists and developers just disappear when laid off from the big companies? No obviously. They move on, often to a indie studio, or founding their own, and then make all the great games that have been releasing.

is killing creativity.

you think AAA companies care about creativity? all they do is maximize profits. you're barking up the wrong tree buddy

Actually, 25% (in north america specifically) of the jobs since 2022 never got refilled. They are leaving the industry all together.

"Its a meme" isnt an argument against whats happening.

AAA falling apart is also bad for AA games. Indie companies might show up, but hardware costs is fucking this industry as well.
