No Origin? Wing Commander has lain dormant for almost 30 years at this point.

I think that's largely because the series creator is making Star citizen. Plus there hasn't been a new Ultima in 20 years either.

Oh, how'd I forget that one? The first major video game RPG franchise!

Speaking of Wing Commander, it sounds like there may be a Wing Commander 3 remaster coming soon: https://www.pcgamer.com/games/sim/it-looks-like-wing-commander-3-is-getting-a-remaster-after-ea-producer-discovers-the-original-fmv-source-tapes-in-the-companys-archives/

I haven't bought anything from EA in a long time... But this may well break me.

I could definitely understand holding a long time boycott against a company like EA because they're certainly far from saints in the video game industry.

But at the same time, supporting things like a wing commander remaster also tells them that there is a real demand for their older games that haven't seen daylight in decades, and it may mean more well-produced remasters like their Command & Conquer Remaster from 2020.
