I’d rather the IPs die with dignity than be butchered

Exactly me3 wrapped up a lot of things in a bow, not a perfect bow but one non the less. Dragon age gave disappointing answers followed by more mysterious that will never be solved. Studios need to structure these series with an endgame in mind more often, it leaves less room for disappointment.

Looks at the last couple games...I wish they went out with more dignity than those

All good stories must end.

Completely agree, but I wish they could at least go out on a high note, not with a wimper.

Mass Effect definitely deserved that but we still have the trilogy

Where it went out with a whimper.

Couple generations too late for dragon age in that regard imo

On the flip side, Mass Effect gets to avoid the bastardization that Dragon Age went through.

I love new original stories, but we also have room for some of the great universes out there. ME is almost 10 years out counting Andromeda. No reason the IP, with such a rich and vast lore behind it deserves to die.

It's the constant spamming of a series without innovation/dedication to a good story that gets criticized.

The drive to have every single IP become an endless source of content and cash is what's killing all creative industries. The companies behind them get so huge they are run by accountants eventually, and become creatively bankrupt. But they are so huge they can continue to hold space just off momentum, and crowd out fresh young IP's and talent in the process.

We need to just kill all the current mega-IP's and let new creators come into a space with more room for them to exist.

Considering how shit basically anything has been they have done in like the past decade that is really not a loss. I rather have them not make any games at all instead of fumbling another DA or ME.

No point in having a company around that is only producing garbage.
