I’m not one of those “every game is woke” types of people, but this is forced as hell. Genuinely who was asking for a God of War game where you play as anyone but Kratos?

A God of War game without The God of War is like a Forza game without cars.

So, developers shouldn't really give a shit about what people ask for but rather do what they have ideas and creativity for, also everything is connected to Kratos and it's a spin off.

Yeah yeah, you said you don't have a problem with playing as a woman and then complained that the protagonist is a woman. Pretty sure who people really can't stand is people like you pretending to be "good" just to throw the premise they made out of the way in the next sentence.

This is literally a spin off and in the first 20 minutes you have seen there's 2 gods of war.

Do you also complain every time a new final fantasy comes out because it's supposed to be a final fantasy? Do you complain about the last of us protagonists not actually being the last of us on the planet?

Or can we stop pretending we should take game titles literally especially when they're about a spin off?

Would you have complained the same if the protagonist was Atreus and not laufey?
