I’ve experienced this before, and I addressed the cashier, not the customer. It’s the cashier’s responsibility to manage the line and serve customers in the proper order. I don’t engage with people who cut in line. If the cashier allows it, that shows a lack of respect for those who lined up properly, and the responsibility falls on the cashier for tolerating it.
