It's interesting that you used $100 as an example, as if scale is unimportant.

If I had nearly $300B, I'd be acutely aware that I didn't deserve $300B, and would advocate for higher taxes even though it cost me. But I have basic ethics, which precludes me from being in that position I suppose.
