Survivor 51 Respect went up for _____, and down for ______ Spoiler

• Upvotes

Respect went up for Kilby, and down for Sharonda, Cristian, and Eric.

Kilby proved himself as an ultimate ally who is willing to make a Rick Devens-esque move. I’m also a Lewis fan so I am so happy he was willing to make that move. I wasn’t too much of a fan of Kilby initially but he really became more likable instantly with that.

I understand Sharonda, Cristian, and Eric for not wanting to draw rocks, but I think their willingness to just give up on Linnea was a potential bad look for the three of them and flaky, kind of giving group mentality, something the jury could throw against any of them down the line.

I was also unaware of what those three were trying to prove when yelling at Lewis for wanting Kilby to draw rocks. Lewis argued that he said he’d do the same for Kilby, and they fired back saying that he’s not in that situation and it doesn’t matter…when clearly it does matter because that’s just the situation they’re in and the agreement they made. Which especially looks bad when they just turn on their ally immediately. Just goes to show they weren’t willing to put their lives on the line for their ally.

Survivor 51 THIS is Survivor, we are so BACK Spoiler

• Upvotes

I’m not breaking any new ground by saying “wow, DAE think Season 51 is really good??” but I really think that it can’t be reiterated enough. For the first time in half a decade, it feels like we’re back to the elements that made me fall in love with this show in the first place.

Actual blindsides. Giving players the agency to make the game interesting. We got MORE votes instead of LESS votes, and we get a historic tribal as a result. It feels like this Season has tapped into the core, prime, raw emotion of the game. Hearing “you’re not sorry, Kilby” coming from an embittered, blindsided player after forcing the rest of the tribe’s hand in a “we don’t want to go to rocks” deadlock?

I LOVE SURVIVOR

Survivor 51 When Brady uses the word "Brody" - is he speaking in the fourth person?

He knows he's on the show, so is he talking directly to us? Is "Brody" his way of breaking the fourth wall?

Maybe the producer he's talking to is named "Brody"?

Is this his version of "Chat"?

Survivor 51 I wish people had better logic... Spoiler

• Upvotes

"You are putting your game on the line for Lewis and we were going to work with you!" .. ok then that meant you would be ok with a savu member going.. so why not right now?

I know they obviously were trying to guilt trip Kilby, but I just wish they were smarter about it.

If I was kilby then I could have been like: if you are willing to work with me, then name who you would vote off next?

Meme _____ got really lucky at tribal Spoiler

Post image

For some reason, Sharonda went hard after Lewis despite the fact that she would've gone home as well had he been voted out, because she's linked to him via the Blood Ring. She really dodged a bullet there. Hopefully once they get the Blood Ring idol, she'll realize her mistake.

Survivor 51 Big Respect to ____ Spoiler

• Upvotes

Kilby big respect to him! I’m glad he stood by Lewis side. I thought it was going to be a rock draw and Cristian was going home because of Hes edit but sadly that wasn’t the case tonight. Sorry it had to be Linnea going but I like Lewis more so I’m happy Lewis survived and safe.

Survivor 51 Brady gotta realize he needs to work with Maggie

• Upvotes

Although he stated “Maggie annoys him”, she came up with the best Survivor twist in YEARS and helped the minority Toka tribe within Dina and managed to vote out a former Soka… he needs to just trust her at this point honestly. Amazing episode.
