My friends and I used to host an “amiibo league” where we would play 8 man matches with our amiibos in a wwe-style bracket on Smash for Wii U. Now that everyone has grown up and moved away, I’m wondering if this could still be accomplished online. I know online functionality can be restored with Pretendo, but I’m wondering if there is a mod that allows 8 player matches online, and if it is compatible with Pretendo. I know this can be done on Ultimate, but in our opinion the AI of the amiibos is much worse and the matches are much more mundane compared to Wii U.

Just fought an aegis called "Kirbussy" that perfectly guessed my ledge option every single time without fail. At first I thought they were godlike, but after like the 10th time I realized they're definitely cheating.

They would GRAB my jump getup every single time. They would dashback down smash my roll every time, and grab my neutral getup as well. It seems they would automatically jump every time I getup attacked too. The player was pretty ass because they got waxed anytime I wasn't on ledge. If it wasn't a standard getup option like hopping off from ledge into an aerial, they would NEVER punish it. (Even if it was bad bad option)

I only played like 3 games against them, but I'm wondering if this is a well known hack or if anyone else has run into this before

On my website dubsrank.gg/P+ , I now have a live Elo ranking of nearly every player in the past decade that has entered a tournament for Project M/Project+ on start.gg or parry.gg. Every player has their own claimable profile that displays their skill class/ranking, best wins, head-to-heads, all tournaments they entered, and an elo chart that changes based on new results. Every tournament is searchable on the Events page where you can view its results. Also if you click its date, or navigate to the History page, you will find the "This Day in P+ History" page. This page mentions every tournament ran on each individual day, who won them, and other notable factoids. Every day in the past 10 years has one. You can also discover new tournaments to enter in the Upcoming Events section of the Events tab. Check it out if you think this is an interesting concept. It's still a work in progress in many regards.

Disclaimers:

1. Character data is sparse, so the character data features are WIP

2. Older players are underrated or absent due to a majority of Project M tournaments not being added to start.gg until sometime during 2016.

3. A few tournaments may be absent due to Project+ tournaments being marked as other games in order to avoid Nintendo's wrath. I already have a mechanism to deal with is, but some may have slipped through. Though I would estimate somewhere between 95%-100% of available tournaments are added.

4. Slight adjustments may be made to the ranking algorithm in the future to improve accuracy.

I pretty much have played smash bros since the Wii came out but haven’t played the past 2 years. Now that I’m at college I want to get into it as a competitive hobby. I’m wondering if a leverless controller is worth learning for fun and if so what recommendations people have, I’ve been considering the fightbox r1b. And to people who play leverless I’d like to know what mechanical switches are best. Thanks for any advice.
