Neuroscience speedup with electrical power

I have learned that the brain runs on electricity. I was thinking that adding more electricity to my body would make me smarter. But whenever I plug myself into the wall socket I suddenly wake up a few steps away. Sometimes I am on fire. How can I use electrical power to speed up my brain?

Limit yourself to shorting out a 9v battery on your tongue.
Licking the strings on your electric guitar is good too.
The brain only uses about 10% of the electricity it gets, so be careful you don't burn the hairs off your ying-yang with excess.....or end up in next week.

Well, that is alternating current, or AC.  And what happens is it literally alternates between positive and negative polarity.  So what happens is the electric energy goes in and out so fast, your brain can't keep up with all the charged particles and gets a little confused.  You want DC, or direct current.  Try using a car battery and jumper cables.  One to each ear works; if you have earrings that's a perfect attachment point.   Just remember to not reverse polarity, safety first!

Overclocking your CPU will require a better cooling solution. If you're planning to do any serious braining, definitely use water cooling when you plug in. Remember that overvolting alone won't speed up your clock, though, so sing the highest note you can as loudly as you can to set your brain to a higher frequency.

You can create static electricity by stroking a cat.

You're using AC aren't you. :/ Teslas run on DC power, that's why they can accelerate like that. (Also why Nikola Tesla was named after these cars!)
