"Minor collateral damage for a revolution, this is for the greater good. Away with the fascists." - every anarchist / antifa person wearing black.

Must be the radical leftists I keep hearing about. I donโ€™t see anyone condoning the looting.

Those are the extremists, not radicals. The radicals are still in favor of democracy, extremists are just out for violence.

Quotes, wonder who it is, oh a hypothetical made image in OPs head. This act seems very familiar.

Scroll down and youโ€™ll see them. They had someone say fairly close to this in response to the Limoges burning. Itโ€™s an idiotic and too common response from champagne socialists insulated from the real affects of thuggery like this

Anarchists arent really "left" ive seen libertarians with anarchist views and theyre mostly considered right wing losers. But im sure to you if someone is wearing black they must be a spooky turrist

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchism

First line; "Anarchism is a mostly far-left political philosophy and movement that seeks to abolish all institutions that perpetuate authority, coercion, or hierarchy, primarily targeting the state and capitalism."

I am against fascism as well as most of my friends, so that means we are antifa by definition. However, weโ€™ve always consider private property damage caused in riots like this to be a travesty.

I'm also against facism, no that does NOT make you and me part of antifa. Antifa is an anarchist club of extremists that just want to blow up the system. They hide behind face covers and attack the free press. Theyre no better than the brown shirts in nazi Germany.

That really diminishes any ground against fasicm though, when they call anyone and anything opposed to them radicals and antifa regardless, if you distance from that you end up with innocents isolated with no support just for sharing their opinions

My understanding is that there is no official antifa โ€œclubโ€ and it and it was just a blanket term people who are against fascism formerly to used to describe themselves.

Then, right-wing politicians and media hijacked the term and convinced people that they are a real terrorist organization in order to frighten them into voting for fascist measures.

The fact that they don't have centralized leadership does not mean that they're just random people. They definitely school together and they use anti-facist rethoric to defend anarchist behavior, like attacking free media.

You're legitimizing the behaviour and the result of it is right in front of you; burned down cities and poverty. If you ever wondered why Germany turned Nazi, its because people did not know what they were getting into.
