It seemed genuine and probably doesn’t matter but I was just curious.

Got bored, and decided to draw Morty in a few different expressions, pretty happy with it seeing as I usually suck ass at drawing humans lol
Should I draw Rick and Morty as dinosaurs or something soon?

Very stupid and unimportant question, but in S5E5, Rick grabs this brown book from a bookcase in the living room before going to the Karaoke place with Jerry and the hell-demons. I might have missed something, but I don't think he ever did anything with the book. He just puts it inside a bag, and about halfway through the episode, the bag disappears along with the book. The last time I noticed Rick having the bag is right before he jumped into the hell portal. Then, when he's back home, the bag is nowhere to be seen, and the book is not returned to the bookshelf.
I also checked the next episode that shows the bookshelf, and everything seems to be the same, except that the brown book is still not there, and in past episodes that show the bookshelf, the brown book also doesn't seem to be there. So it never existed before and it just appears in this episode for Rick to put into a bag and then disappear forever? Am I missing something? Was the book the evil cube or something?
It probably means nothing, but I just noticed it and couldn't stop thinking about it, so I thought I'd just ask the experts.

It’s a pseudo reference, not a full R&M tattoo but I think fans could identify it lol

Like obviously he’d be a very impatient teacher but would he still try? Like if Morty was genuinely interested and had initiative. Hes been shown to be able to pick up on things like in the simulation episode and he cal disarm bombs, so it’s not impossible.

Just a thought I had as I’ve rewatched the show for the first time in about 5 years, and really enjoyed it. More than I ever did when I was younger.
Rick and Morty feels like a show that must end. It cant do a family guy or a Simpsons in my opinion. So I have been wondering where everything is going, where may the show feel comfortable leaving everything.
It feels like there’s a lot of theorising and discussion over the years about Rick, because he had the most unanswered questions - a life to look back on and decode. Whereas Morty is a life to look forward on, on where it’s going. To me it seems like the show now needs to let Rick actually grow, he’s defeated prime, hes got no focus now. And the show needs to let him grow ( or not- if it wants to be a bit more pessimistic ) and for that to be his ‘arc’ over the coming seasons. But there are two characters in the title of the show. Morty, I’m guessing, will go through the most over the next two seasons.
So as to the point of the title, like there’s Rick prime, that killed Ricks wife and every Ricks wife , will Morty have a ‘canon’ event. It seems that evil Morty could be some kind of Catalyst to this. I don’t know what the shape of it would look like, a complete mirroring of what happened to Rick with some other character seems like it’d be rehashing the same plot point- plus it seems the writers would not be interested in that at all as they clearly wanted the Omega device as a potential plot point gone.
I don’t know what it’d look like, but my guess is season 10 may be some great pain for Morty- inflicted by Evil Morty, and season 11 has to be a resolution different from the one Rick found. The main point being is- Rick was alone. Morty has Rick. Maybe it’d be nice for the conclusion of this story to be Rick finding a way to deal with his trauma and Nihilism, and that being the thing he does that actually helps Morty.
Maybe it doesn’t even have to be anything cataclysmic or to do with evil Morty at all. But if I was the writers, looking for a way to end the show. My thoughts would be looking at how Ricks growth can prevent Morty from entering a similar path he took. Otherwise, if it’s just more nihilism nothing matters, it’ll just feel repetitive. I could also accept that Rick doesn’t grow, and Morty independently decides not to take Ricks Nihilistic path in spite of Rick, and using his own agency to move on from something and find meaning. Maybe that’d be a better ending as the show often sees Morty grappling with his agency in a world with Rick.
Perhaps the best ending would be some median of the two. One where Rick is trying to improve, but it doesn’t remove Morty’s agency- with the backdrop being some sort of mirrored event like Ricks.
Anyway just a thought.

Rick explains that Morty’s brainwaves cancel out his waves because Morty is “as dumb as Rick is smart.” If the goal is just to mask a genius signal with a “stupid” signal, wouldn't Jerry be a much better shield than Morty?
