Got these Devgad mongoes for 750/- per dozen from MarketYard.
Society bros with Konkan connections are selling mangoes at a premium - 1600/dozen. And roads are flooded with fake alphonso mangoes.
Just go to Marketyard early in the morning. First two lanes on the left of the main gate is fruit market. Bit of homework ( Youtube) on how to identify Alphonso, and you will be able to spot the good ones. I also picked 8 dozen peti of mid-size Ratnagiri for just 2600/-. Absolute steal. Your family will love you for this.
P.S: Driving early morning on Pune roads is a bonus.

Timing: 5-6am.
Edit 2: This blew up way more than I expected.
I have been to Devgad / Ratnagiri in the past and bought Mangoes directly from the farms. So know a thing or two.
As long as the mangoes taste good, it doesn’t really matter from where they come from. I just stuck to that logic and bought from Market Yard.
Not everybody has access to Konkan or money to spend 1000 for a dozen of mangoes. This post is for them.

I haven’t explored Pune much when it comes to food so I want to know your absolute must try recommendations
If you could suggest only one dish from one restaurant in Pune which dish would you pick?
Please mention the restaurant and dish and why you think it’s worth trying

Officially tried all the 3 outlets across Pune.
This is going to be a tough competition between KFC and Popeyes.
Popeyes have really tasty dressings - i loved their classic ranch, habanero and korean sauces in wings and burgers.
The Elpro mall outlet gives cheaper wings than any outlet. Seasons Mall and Phoenix have expensive combos.
Their chicken popcorn is good too.
I liked their fried chicken burgers like the Korean one and American Mayo.
If you guys are a little bored with KFC, you can check this out! Its pretty famous in the west!

Hey guys I'm looking for best missile in Pune. I tried sneaking one from DRDO, but they pointed their guns at me for some reason and asked me to go and never come back.
I am really interested in having missile. If anyone has leads please reach out.

I personally feel that Burger King (Camp) has lost its original flavor. Are there any other places, old or 🆕, that you think are overhyped and don't deliver on the taste or experience as much as they're promoted to?

I’ve tried quite a few Misals around Pune, but this one at ShriKrishna Bhuvan was honestly one of my favourites so far.
The flavour, spice level, and overall balance were just right.
💰 Price: ₹110

Had a really good experience at Cafe Marz-O-Rin. The food was delicious, the quality was excellent, and the service was warm and attentive. The ambience is also pleasant and makes it a nice place to spend time with friends or family. Overall, a very satisfying experience and definitely worth visiting.

I have been visiting beetroot bistro kp since ages. Their hot chocolate is my most favourite. The consistency of the hot chocolate has changed over the years but it still is pretty nice I would say.

well, i turned 26 recently ✨
i shifted to pune a couple of months ago, and it’s been a fun place to call home so far. so i figured i’d share a little belated birthday chai with you all.
so here's the plan.
if you're thinking of grabbing a chai today (or tomorrow), reply with a photo of your tea stall's qr code (or dm, if you’d rather not post it publicly.) i'll pay for one tea (up to ₹20) while my budget lasts.
after you get it, i'd love if you could:
• share a photo of your tea ☕
• and if you feel like it, send me a dm about your day, what's been on your mind lately, or just come say hi.
looking forward to seeing your chai photos! ❤️
p.s. posted on r/punemeetup initially. i’ll keep this going until my birthday chai fund runs out. 😁

I was super hungry after coming out of the station. While crossing the roads I found this restaurant and after ordering at a very low price I was so happy. But that happiness didn't last long and I was instantly disappointed with the quality of the food. One of the worst I ever had.
