I have updated Street Fighter Alpha 3 for PS1 with many new features:

- New option for fixed ISM on arcade mode based on selected ISM

- Almost all special moves are updated and available on all ISMs

- Make command input and timing more consistent

- Update command inputs movelist

- Change throw command becomes LP + LK like newer Street Fighter series

- Update Ryu's shin shoryuken super can show its true animation on any range now

- Fix CPU opponent can do impossible multi throw hits

- All of hidden features and characters are unlocked

Another day, another save icon. Now with dithering! Did not do the US Wipeout XL logo, as it was dull. Might do the OST vinyl Wipeout XL logo, but letters need to be redrawn smaller.

I never owned a PlayStation. Played Wipeout only on Saturn ( ♪ Ay-ya-YOO! ♪ ). It was good, but they say the PS1 version was even better.

Guys, let's make these save icons a thing! Can anyone do better?

From a quick look at some reviews some people said that some writers had issues reading them. I use a cheap slimline writer but it works flawlessly with the CMC Pro's, 100% success rate, every disc I've burned has worked perfectly no FMV skipping or anything like that. I'm tempted by these though, might be worth a shot maybe just buy 10 or something to see how they are. Would love to know if anyone has any experience with them.

In dark hollow between the two big frogs with the clubs and around the area the music will stutter or stop all together for a second or so, sound effects keep playing normally while the music stutters, just wondering if it is the disc having scratches causing it or is the level just like this normally?, this issue made me buy an actual ps1 to see if it was just the ps2 being off, happens either console running the game.

Been obsessed with my original PS1 I recently found in a loft at my parents house.

The Story: Probably around 2005 the disc drive started taking FOREVER to load games, loading screens would take insane amounts of time. After that happened my Playstation went MIA. Until a month or two ago I found it in the loft, I thought it just got thrown away.

So I grabbed it and took it home, no controllers, no cords of any kind. I still have all my original games. I get online and order a disc drive, a controller, a power cord, and a HDMI adapter. It works great after sitting for 20 years.

Now I decided to spruce it up a little. I decided to order a blacked out shell someone painted on ebay, and then I ordered the original stickers for the console to look more complete. I just installed the black Controller ports today to complete the job. New shell, with my original Playstation guts inside.

I got this system for my 6th Birthday back when Playstation 1 was just THE Playstation. I got Crash 2 with it. although I never 100% it.... I am going to soon. On my original Playstation from my childhood, with my Original childhood copy of Crash 2.

I currently just got to the final warp room. I have already 100% the first 4 warp rooms and the secret warp room. I think Cold Hard Crash was the reason I never 100% this game. the hidden box on the bonus round I never knew about, and then backtracking the death route to get back to the normal route. I never knew that either. But now its getting done. I should complete it by the weekend.

I have spent a lot on this PS1 lately, but it was my first console. I will never lose it again. It was well worth it.

I also now have 2 Wireless Black controllers for it, a regular authentic Grey Dualshock, and a authentic non joystick controller coming with the 8bitdo mod kit and receiver. I posted the other day about grabbing a multi tap for $10. And I also have two black authentic memory cards coming to match the console.

Next and Final Step: Arcstation when it gets in stock

Hace poco que encontré mi PSX de chaval y estoy intentando resucitarla. El conector de pines se soltó cuando intentaba desconectarlo y fue soldado de nuevo a la placa. La consola enciende, y la lente se ve que se mueve hacia arriba y hacia abajo intentando localizar el disco, sin embargo, no gira ni se ve movimiento alguno. Me gustaría saber si está bien soldado o qué problema tiene para solucionarlo. Para ello quiero utilizar correctamente el multímetro y averiguar si este es el problema que está haciendo que no giren los discos o no llegue la alimentación. Cómo haría la medición correcta? En qué posición debería poner el multímetro y qué pines debo testear? Se agradece cualquier información. Muchas gracias!

Hi, everyone.

I recently found my old PSX from when I was a kid, and I’m trying to get it working again. The pin connector came loose when I was trying to unplug it, so it was soldered back onto the circuit board. The console powers on, and you can see the lens moving up and down as it tries to locate the disc; however, it doesn’t spin, and there’s no visible movement at all. I’d like to know if it’s soldered properly or what the problem is so I can fix it. To do this, I want to use the multimeter correctly to figure out if this is the issue preventing the discs from spinning or if power isn’t reaching the console. How would I take the correct measurement? What setting should I use on the multimeter, and which pins should I test? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

When I launch the console, the screen is misaligned. Either like slightly to the top, or cut in half. Tho once I did manage it to fit within the border!

I found my old psone at my parents house and decided to bring it in. I don't have a proper CRT screen, best I can do is a 1080p 60hz monitor. I got a scart to hdmi converter and tried connecting it. I have some games but the discs are scratched beyond belief lol. So I can't test in those

I'm trying to track down any information, leads, or potential disc dumps regarding the uncensored pre-release build of the original Medal of Honor (1999) for the PlayStation 1.

As some of you might know, the game was originally developed to be much more visceral and violent, heavily inspired by "Saving Private Ryan". Early promotional footage—most notably the preview trailer included on the DreamWorks Interactive T'AI FU promo/demo disc from early 1999—clearly shows distinct gore elements, such as explicit blood splatters on walls and soldiers losing limbs/stumbling from grenade explosions.

Following the Columbine High School massacre in April 1999, the developers had to frantically scrub the code, removing all gibbing, gore animations, and wall blood splatters just months before the October release to secure a Teen rating.

Given that gaming magazines and press outlets were receiving preview and review builds around March/April 1999, it is highly likely that physical preview discs containing this violent build exist out there in private collections.

Has any build from this specific timeframe (Q1/early Q2 1999) ever been documented, dumped, or spotted in the wild? Any information or discussion on this specific "lost media" piece of Medal of Honor history would be greatly appreciated!

Found this time capsule collecting dust in my mom’s attic. I bought it as a kid back when the PS1 was the newest console around. It cost me 199 SEK, roughly $20. The original “BEGAGNAT” (used) tag and the old Egmont hotline sticker are still on it. Disc is in great shape too.
