title. as a person who winged it and haven't studied, here is my honest review.
math was super easy. It was so easy to the point where I questioned if this was the right test. the last question was hard, so maybe I missed one or two across both modules. in terms of time control, I completed module 1 with 20 mins left on the clock, and completed module 2 barely with like 10 seconds left.
english was hard, but probably not for most students. english is my second language, and I had a hard time being concentrated and actually understanding the texts. i feel like this was a relatively easy test, and it will probably feel like that for most native speakers who studied. ALSO, I ran out of time on module 2 and had to guess two of the questions
I do think that environment plays a large factor. I was nervous, it was cold, and it was also at like 8:30 in the morning.
If I could leave a tip, I would say the biggest thing is to sleep the night before. I know people are going to try to get those extra minutes to learn more by sacrificing sleep time. trust me, this is the worst thing you can do. you studying for maybe a couple hours more will realistically only increase your score by maybe 10-30 points. on the other hand, you sacrificing sleep and being tired the next day will potentially sacrifice many more points than that since your brain wouldn't be as active.
Besides, please ask me any questions you have and I will answer them with the best of my abilities.
